Villa holiday rentals in Danta Beach

My stay was exceptional!! I had to other buddies with me (surf trip) and we all loved the property and all it had to offer! It was private and secluded but still felt very safe with 24hr grounds security at the gate entrance. Ian gave a list of contacts from a private chef to masseuses to choose from. He was actively responsive and extremely hospitable host. When we arrived he let us check in a hour early and notified me that one of the toilets was broken from a previous guest that stayed there. He was unable to locate a part so instead he installed a whole new toilet!!! Talk about going above and beyond as a host. They switched out the toilet in less than a hour! The property is located about 20 mins from the main city of Tamarindo with a nice scenic drive. If you are traveling to Costa Rica UPGRADED TO A SUV or TRUCK with 4 WHEEL DRIVE! Simply for commuting around the area and from town to town. I will 100% book another stay here. Ian is a 5 out 5 star host!

Loved my stay at VIRYA! It was literally down the street from everything, just up hill. A lot of people recommended renting golf carts but we caught Ubers to Tamarindo Center and they were $4 at the most and we just walked from place to place! I loved how you needed bracelets to enter the property and the doors automatically locked from the outside! The property looks exactly like the pictures, except the pool is a little smaller than expected and was pretty cold during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy it that much but the beach was extremely close so we spent a lot of time there!The hostess were very responsive to all of our questions and left clear instructions on how to enter the property prior to arrive and provided us with recommendations for transportation and excursions. Definitely recommend this property for any stay in Tamarindo! Just a great area and everybody in the town is super nice! The food is also delicious, EVERYWHERE!!

The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!

The moment you walk in the large beautiful door you enter a peaceful oasis. The pool, large covered porches, beautiful plants all greet you. It is a stunning private retreat but yet close to lots of restaurants, stores, and a short walk to the beach. The garage, mudroom, and large laundry room are great touches. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room has a comfortable couch with a large TV. The bedrooms each have their own entrance off of the pool which is great for privacy and allows each room to have its own climate control. We enjoyed our stay here more than once. If you want a quiet retreat but close to amenities this is the place!

You won’t regret booking The Palms! A private, quiet retreat that was upscale and away from the hustle and bustle and party scene of some of the other Pacific Costa Rican beach towns. As a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old, the size of the condo was great, the kids enjoyed swimming in the waves at the beach, boogie boarding, and playing in the infinity pool with stunning beach views and sunsets. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. The bartender made me a drink off menu simply because I asked for something “uniquely Costa Rican!” The condo itself was well-stocked with staples to make for such a convenient stay. It’s even better than we imagined. There was a hiccup at check-in which caused some stress and a maintenance issue, but the Palms and host quickly made things right which was very appreciated.

Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

The hosts, Adriano and Deniz were so gracious and their air bnb is like being at home but with all the amenities! Pool was amazing, kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were spa retreats. We enjoyed the daily included breakfast by Shirley. She is kind, easy to communicate with (practice your espanol!), and takes care of the house. Tamarindo is a busy little beach town which you will enjoy during the day…and Casa Duna is the place you will enjoy waking up at in the morning and relaxing in at night.

Magical Place Our week in Maria’s home was absolutely magical. Situated at the end of a sandy cove, we had excellent ocean access and amazing privacy. The home was so comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms and breezy, beautiful living spaces in the rest of the house, deep decks with plenty of seating for meals, and tiny little spots under trees and bushes scattered throughout the ample yard. Our three generation gathering relished the pool, the beach, the yard games, and plenty of board games and art projects throughout the week. Maria’s recommendations for cooks and transportation were excellent. Maria was shockingly responsive…even sending someone over with two bags of ice when the ice-maker was a little slow for our needs. We were blessed with regular sightings of monkeys, lizards, birds, crabs, and dragonflies. We were so lucky to come upon this magical place that fully met all our needs, and exceeded our expectations.

I cannot say enough about Chateau. We traveled with a group of 30 (ages from 4 to 74). Of all the places we stayed, Chateau was the most memorable. It’s stunning. If you want to make memories, stay here. In addition to the beautiful location, the owners put us in touch with a chef and bartender, and we were able to make cherished memories during our last night. You will never regret staying here in my opinion.

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

This Airbnb was perfect for 2 families (4 adults and 3 children from 4-6 years old). The short walk to the beach, Dante’s Rock, restaurants, surf rental, yoga and little shops within minutes was exactly what we had searched and hoped for! We were very grateful for the beach equipment (chairs, sun shades, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler and wagon). The house was very clean, with excellent A/C throughout and beautiful from top to bottom! Top notch appliances & well equipped for cooking. Netflix was great for the kiddos. The warm welcome and package was very appreciated. We felt very safe at all times, thank you for the added security! The pool and private outdoor area with shower, powder room and kitchen were a huge plus! 15 minute drive to a 24h urgent care and grocery store. We had homie chef come and cook for us, a must! We loved our stay. The house was perfect for 2 family's with adults kids. The location was just off the beaten path of the downtown area. The location was private and we really enjoyed having the pool to relax after a busy day. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so spacious. We liked having a separate house above the main house. If people wanted to stay up later, there were two master bedrooms upstairs to retreat to. We were so close to everything and the beach. We saw the sunset every night. Thank you!!!

We had an amazing stay at Villa 10 at Bahia Pez Vela. We had high expectations based on the pictures and prior reviews and our stay still exceeded our expectations. This is definitely up there with the best AirBNB's we have ever stayed at. The unit was very clean and the location within the resort is perfect because you can access the beach, the beautiful pool area, and the on-site bar and restaurant in seconds. You will have a private patio with shade and a great seating area that overlooks the ocean, and the main bedroom has a balcony overlooking the ocean. Everyone at the resort was very helpful and accommodating. We rented snorkeling equipment one day from the office and were surprised at how good the snorkeling was at the resort beach. Alvin's communication was excellent from beginning to end. Book it! You will not be disappointed.

We had such a great stay at the lodge traveling with our 4 month old. The main room is very comfortable and the crib worked out well. It also has a fridge in the room. The kitchen is outdoors and well stocked. There is a shared, salt water pool, which is very comfortable. We were also lucky enough to see a family of monkeys passing by one morning. The surroundings in general and stunning and very relaxing. Stephane and Sonia are very welcoming and personable. They had great tips and also served a great (optional) breakfast.

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

This was just what we were looking for - Peace and quiet with a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed and more. One of the best stocked places we've stayed in with plenty of towels, paper supplies, kitchen supplies - everything except washclothes! Bring a few if you use them like we do. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved having our own private pool. Definitely recommend!

Excellent place and service from Jorge. The place is very quiet and safe. The accommodation is very nice to enjoy the pool or a family barbecue. Jorge was always available for any needs. There are a variety of beaches that are close to the place or even if the river on route 911 is low you can reach the beaches of the Gulf of Papagayo in a short time.

The apartment was great. The air conditioning works very well. it was clean and we did not lack anything and the grocery store is a 5 min walk. The resort is very quiet, almost too much. The only catch is that in the evening we didn't want to enjoy the pool and balcony because there are a lot of raccoons and stray cats

A stunning property! Upon opening the door we were in awe of the beautiful view and house amenities. While the kitchen, main bedroom and main bed outdoor deck are the biggest highlights is this property…the entire home was perfect for a family of four and we were impressed by all areas. Comfy linens, upscale appliances, spotless surroundings and kind condo staff are just some of the reasons this stay was one of our best of all time. The town of Playa del Coco is within minutes, the black sand beach feels private and pools/restaurant are great. I consider our family particular and this house didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to come back!

Our entire experience was lovely! Erik’s house comes with a house helper, and she made us breakfast daily. Rosa was a delight and we loved her. Erik was always so responsive and quick to get back to me. The house was clean and in a great location - far enough away from downtown to be quiet, but easy to get to by Uber. Our group would stay here again!
