Villa holiday rentals in Danta Beach

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

The home is brand new and feels like a private Four Seasons resort. We had an unforgettable stay, complete with a private chef experience that was one of the highlights of our trip. Even with that, we still loved strolling to the nearby walkable restaurants, which were fantastic. If you’re looking for the pinnacle of luxury, Casa Caponera delivers in every way. Every room offers stunning views, the layout is ideal for entertaining or relaxing, and the outdoor living spaces are just as impressive as the interior. The lighting at night gives the whole home a magical, resort-like ambiance. Every amenity you could imagine is here—from top-tier appliances to spa-like bathrooms. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. Truly unforgettable.

Exactly as it appears in photos. Host was responsive prior to and throughout our stay- offering recommendations, making a reservation for us and immediately addressing a maintenance issue. Clean and spacious. As a bonus- we were fortunate to spot 4 howler monkey right across from our front door. Definitely recommend!

The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

Villa Melina was an incredible stay. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The place is impeccably clean, communication was top notch, they were always available for a question or a recommendation . We can’t wait to come back and visit!

We loved our stay at Kaya Villas and will definitely be back. Beds were very comfortable, the grounds beautiful and private, and close to great food and the ocean. We loved having Plays Avellanas as our home base and honestly didn’t feel the need to stray too far. Went to Tamarindo one afternoon and then to Playa Grande several times as well. Our host was super welcoming and helpful as well. 10/10!

You won’t regret booking The Palms! A private, quiet retreat that was upscale and away from the hustle and bustle and party scene of some of the other Pacific Costa Rican beach towns. As a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old, the size of the condo was great, the kids enjoyed swimming in the waves at the beach, boogie boarding, and playing in the infinity pool with stunning beach views and sunsets. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. The bartender made me a drink off menu simply because I asked for something “uniquely Costa Rican!” The condo itself was well-stocked with staples to make for such a convenient stay. It’s even better than we imagined. There was a hiccup at check-in which caused some stress and a maintenance issue, but the Palms and host quickly made things right which was very appreciated.

I truly cannot say enough about both our incredible hosts and the beautiful home. Nathalie was the most amazing host. Responsive, helpful, proactive with recommendations, assisted with all of our needs, and was just an incredibly kind human. As for the home, truly, the pictures do not do it justice. Probably one of the, if not the most gorgeous place I've ever stayed. I'm so grateful for our time at Casa Bö.

This was by far one of the most beautiful AirBnB's we've every stayed at. It really felt like a mini resort. We had two families, and everyone was able to have their own room and space. Most of our time was spent in the gorgeous pool or in the outdoor kitchen. The pictures are accurate, but everything is more wonderful than the pictures. There is wildlife everywhere - gorgeous birds, geckos, howler monkeys down the street. The pantry off the kitchen protects your food, and we had no problems with bugs (we were told it was the time of year). We did have a couple of friendly birds that begged for food, but they were amusing to watch. The location, though remote, is in a gated community and was very safe. It was only a 10 minute walk to a beach that seemd almost private...not more than a few dozen people at a time on a beach that had to stretch for a mile. Do not hesitate to rent this place!!!

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

Magical Place Our week in Maria’s home was absolutely magical. Situated at the end of a sandy cove, we had excellent ocean access and amazing privacy. The home was so comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms and breezy, beautiful living spaces in the rest of the house, deep decks with plenty of seating for meals, and tiny little spots under trees and bushes scattered throughout the ample yard. Our three generation gathering relished the pool, the beach, the yard games, and plenty of board games and art projects throughout the week. Maria’s recommendations for cooks and transportation were excellent. Maria was shockingly responsive…even sending someone over with two bags of ice when the ice-maker was a little slow for our needs. We were blessed with regular sightings of monkeys, lizards, birds, crabs, and dragonflies. We were so lucky to come upon this magical place that fully met all our needs, and exceeded our expectations.

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for 2 family's with adults kids. The location was just off the beaten path of the downtown area. The location was private and we really enjoyed having the pool to relax after a busy day. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so spacious. We liked having a separate house above the main house. If people wanted to stay up later, there were two master bedrooms upstairs to retreat to. We were so close to everything and the beach. We saw the sunset every night. Thank you!!!

Perfect 50th Birthday Girls’ Getaway! We recently stayed at this incredible vacation home to celebrate our 50th birthdays — 8 girls, one unforgettable trip! The entire property was absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool was perfect for lounging and laughing, and the villas were quiet, clean, and beyond comfortable. The beds felt like heaven after long days of fun in the sun! We especially loved the open-air showers and the outdoor showers — such a luxurious and relaxing touch. Jason and Kathy were phenomenal hosts. They messaged us almost every day with thoughtful recommendations for excursions, restaurants, and local gems. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly made the experience even more special. Everything about our stay was amazing and exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or hosts. Highly, highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Villa 10 at Bahia Pez Vela. We had high expectations based on the pictures and prior reviews and our stay still exceeded our expectations. This is definitely up there with the best AirBNB's we have ever stayed at. The unit was very clean and the location within the resort is perfect because you can access the beach, the beautiful pool area, and the on-site bar and restaurant in seconds. You will have a private patio with shade and a great seating area that overlooks the ocean, and the main bedroom has a balcony overlooking the ocean. Everyone at the resort was very helpful and accommodating. We rented snorkeling equipment one day from the office and were surprised at how good the snorkeling was at the resort beach. Alvin's communication was excellent from beginning to end. Book it! You will not be disappointed.

Our stay at Heather's place was absolutely spectacular, the kids really enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the amazingly breathtaking views of Playa flamingo. What an absolute treasure is this casa on the hill. Every detail was taken care of by the lovely concierge, Karina, including our groceries delivered and fridge stocked, easy airport transfers arranged, rental car delivered to the house, and even hiring a private chef for special dietary needs. She organized excursions for us to snorkel on a private boat, spend the day at Diamante Adventure Eco Park, complete with an awe-inspiring hipline adventure and Wildlife Sanctuary tour, lunch included. I cannot say enough for the wonderful host in creating one of the best vacations ever. Thank you to Heather and Karina for your wonderful loving care.

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

This was just what we were looking for - Peace and quiet with a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed and more. One of the best stocked places we've stayed in with plenty of towels, paper supplies, kitchen supplies - everything except washclothes! Bring a few if you use them like we do. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved having our own private pool. Definitely recommend!

Wij hebben hier een week verbleven met onze peuter en het was heerlijk! Het huis is heel schoon en heel goed uitgerust, aan alles is gedacht! Goed uitgeruste keuken; wasmachine en faciliteiten om schoon te maken, uitgebreid beddengoed, handdoeken en doeken voor het strand. Echt heel comfortabel en prettig, zeker met een gezin! Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan voor families met kleine kinderen. Het huis is ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Ook het contact met de host verliep goed en makkelijk, ze reageren heel snel en zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Iets om rekening mee te houden is dat de grotere supermarkten wat verder weg zijn (30 minuten rijden ongeveer) dus bijvoorbeeld op de dag van aankomst is het verstandig vooraf boodschappen te doen. Het huis ligt een beetje afgelegen, maar er zijn genoeg mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes vlakbij!

A stunning property! Upon opening the door we were in awe of the beautiful view and house amenities. While the kitchen, main bedroom and main bed outdoor deck are the biggest highlights is this property…the entire home was perfect for a family of four and we were impressed by all areas. Comfy linens, upscale appliances, spotless surroundings and kind condo staff are just some of the reasons this stay was one of our best of all time. The town of Playa del Coco is within minutes, the black sand beach feels private and pools/restaurant are great. I consider our family particular and this house didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to come back!

Wow 10/10 Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la casita del mar ! Marie et Richard nous ont très bien accompagné avant et pendant notre voyages L’endroit est impeccable et le paysage vu de notre terrasse était magnifique Les petits bruits relaxants de la faune dans leur milieu naturel cetais extraordinaire, nous avons même eu la chance de croiser des petits singes perchés dans les arbres en revenant de la petite plage naturel à environ 3 km de la casita ! Nous avons reçu plusieurs recommandations de la part de Marie pour activités et restaurants , aucune déception faites lui confiance 😋 elle saura vous guider selon vos goûts Merci à Marie, Sara et Richard pour tout !!! À une prochaine fois assurément, si nous retournons au Costa Rica
