Monthly Rentals in Dark Island

Jim and Barb were great hosts. This Airbnb had everything we needed for a family trip. The place was spotless and extra clean. King Size bed was super comfy along with the pillows. Home was very nicely decorated. We saw multiple deer and turkeys daily. My son even got some time to Sled on some hills on the property. We enjoyed everything about the property and will return in the future. Thank you.

The place was spacious, quiet, and very well-equipped with all the essentials. The hairdryer was powerful (which is a rare find!), and everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. The home itself is quite spacious and set across multiple levels, so be prepared for some stairs. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming — truly made me feel at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

Derrick’s place was beautiful & serene. The view from the deck was amazing. The French doors in the bedroom, overlooking the St Lawrence, made it hard to get out of bed (in a good way)! We lucked out with the weather! Our dog loved the property… Our only issues were the shag flies, couldn’t open the door at night without a billion coming inside - oh well! It’s the North Country. The lock box was a little difficult to get open, could potentially be updated for easier access. All in all, would happily return! Thank you Derrick!

It’s a really good place , photos do not justify how good the place and experience we had. Good well maintained outdoor space, fully equipped kitchen , very big private space.
