Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Darling Downs

The views are awesome! plenty of board games and quality DVDs to choose from. Dog friendly however there is no fence if your pup likes to wander. The scenic lookout is just up the road (perfect for sunsets) and markets are on every second Sunday which was nice. I would recommend a stay!

Fantastic property in a beautiful spot. Only thing to note for future guests is that while the property is fully fenced, if you have smaller pets they may be able to fit through gaps in the fence so you need to keep an eye on them, especially the gate to the property which is on the main road as the yard isn’t fenced off from the driveway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Red Barn. Beautiful views and location. Comfy beds and lovely furnishings. We enjoyed a couple of swims in the pool in the relaxing surrounds. Would love to visit again.

We had a great stay. Sheree and Andrew were very friendly and quick to respond, even late Sunday when a smoke detector randomly went off, they came and resolved the problem. Bed was comfortable, hot shower, kitchen was well provisioned and there were lots of places to relax. We were a couple, but it would be great for a group of couples or family. Beautiful setting and a short drive or reasonable ride to the rail trail. We will definitely be back. Thanks Sharree.

We had a wonderful stay at Wisteria. Walking distance to Gabbinbar, and such a beautiful home. Would be a great place to get ready in before a wedding. This Airbnb really felt like a home and I highly recommend - would love to go back!

Great, cosy place right in town. Really well appointed with everything you need and comfortable beds to sleep in. We had a great weekend at Carols place - highly recommend if you are staying in Stanthorpe.

Jodie was an amazing host, and our family immediately felt right at home from the time we arrived. The cabin looked exactly like the photos and was well equipped. The amazing experience really likes in the interaction with the horses, which absolutely delighted both kids and adults. Jodie was very patient with the kids, and gave them an invaluable hands on experience with the horses almost everyday. The kids were also thrilled with Indie, the cutest and most lovable dog who brightens up our mornings every day. Overall, couldn’t ask for a better experience than with Brumbies Hollow. We will definitely try to find an opportunity to head back again! Thanks again Jodie!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s place as a family of three (two adults and one child), and we all had a great time. The swimming pool was a highlight for us – it was clean, inviting, and the quiet surroundings made it extra relaxing. We were also delighted to find a fantastic wine and cheese platter waiting for us upon our arrival, which made us feel welcome and right at home. Lisa is an outstanding host; she responded to our messages very quickly and was always friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities for a pleasant stay. We particularly loved the cozy atmosphere and how clean and well-maintained everything was. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Lisa’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We hope to have the chance to come back and stay again in the future!

The place was fantastic with views better than shown in the pictures. We loved everything about the property and enjoyed our week long stay. Zoya and Roman were very helpful and we liked the hosts as much as the property! We will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay with family and friends to share an 80 th birthday. Our ages ranged from 1 year old to 80 and all ages in between and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen with its cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. was everything we needed and more. The pizza oven was a treat as was the BBQ. The children loved the well stocked dress up box, the spa and the grounds for running around and being active. The pool table and table tennis were well used and there were many cosy areas to sit and chat or have quiet time. The train was very cosy and the beds so comfortable. Those who camped enjoyed the shady area under the macedamia trees. There were so many quirky, interesting additions and decorative features to the various areas especially the Irish Pub which was a popular venue for nightly games. We would recommend this accommodation and venue wholeheartdely. The hosts are very welcoming and always responsive. Thank you.

Absolutely magical stay, we didn’t want to leave. Such a beautiful space that had everything we needed! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kids loved the pool, kitchen was really well equipped and the location was perfect for us as we had a wedding right around the corner. 5 mins from the beach and cafes too. Will hopefully be back for another weekend stay soon!

The house located in a very quiet place but just one hour drive from Brisbane. Is big and tidy well furnitured. Huge yard for the dogs we also pretty enjoy the small tennis court. Beautiful glass mountain view from back yard. Highly recommend

This cottage was very well kept and cozy. They had considered the options of going out and exploring, or relaxing around the cottage day and night and catered with information and helpful items. The views were stunning and the location so peaceful. Very well considered set up and just what we needed.

My family and I loved our farm stay weekend away. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you could want and more. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Our two boys loved Moo the dog and feeding all the animals with Leonie. We would love to stay here again!

Stayed here for a night with my partner for her birthday, the cabin absolutely exceeded expectations, I’m going to add to the bed review, extremely comfortable Super relaxing and peaceful. I will say however the photos definitely need some updating, they don’t do the cabin justice in just how stunning it is. Could not have asked for a better night away

We had a fabulous stay at Maggie’s cottage. This was our second time and it did not disappoint. It is in a beautiful location, very peaceful but also very close to the local town. The cottage is lovely and the hosts have thought of everything!! Very thoughtful touches, we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast. We loved getting visits from Maggie the dog and the horses were a hit with my son!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary River Farmstay. Warren and Vass are wonderful hosts who made sure we were comfortable and gave a lovely tour of the animals and gardens. The fresh fruit from the gardens was delicious and very appreciated :) Fishing in the Mary River at the back of the property was a highlight and the farm itself is scenic and peaceful. The cottage was cozy and had an enclosed area for our dog, although she also had a wonderful time playing with the farm dogs. Overall a great place for a short or long stay with heaps of space to roam and enjoy the countryside, highly recommended and we will definitely stay again! PS. When you stay at Mary River Farm Stay make sure you visit the Gundy Pub, just 6 minutes down the road, for a beverage and meal, its great!

We just spent 3 nights at Two Rabbit Hill and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We had such a great stay. The property is so beautiful from the cabins, to the furnishings to the picturesque views all around the property. It was quiet, peaceful & had everything we needed. We went with our son & his wife and we both brought our dogs, who had an absolute ball. It was so comforting to know that the property was 100% fully fenced, so didn't worry about them getting out. There are gorgeous horses that come up to the fence and lot's of roos too! Joanne met us as we arrived and was very welcoming & helpful and checked in with us via the Airbnb app to see if we needed anything else. The attention to detail in the cabins is really lovely. If you’re going to Stanthorpe, this is the place to stay! Very private and quiet location, indoor and outdoor fireplace for cool evenings. The beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location, close to everything and the best wineries! Our dogs loved the yard. The bathroom is also great! Can’t say enough about our stay, just perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Naomi’s! We had an early wedding, so thankfully Naomi and her housekeeping team were able to get us in a bit early to get ready. Naomi was excellent with communicating and the townhouse was perfect for our weekend getaway to Toowoomba!
