Thought this place was very good value for money. Lots of little extras, eg. Fairy lights, pool inflatables, binoculars and , in response to a request , 2 yoga mats. Above and beyond. Some may find the area too quiet. It is a short distance off the main highway but we loved the peace, the olive groves and the views. But 5 minutes drive and you are at the coast with all the services that it provides. We explored the west end of Crete and found something more like Crete of 20 years ago. Lovely, thank you very much:)

Hi y'all, it was really nice to stay at Eugenia's place. Here are a few highlights - Daily stormy greeting of all her lovely animals - the pictures cannot reflect the magnificent view of the sea and the olive groves - breathtaking - the apartment itself met exactly our expectations and is super convenient - Eugenia is so loving and accommodating - a perfect hostess! Georgia is a great host and communication was easy. Apartment is spacious and lovely. Everything you need for a nice stay in Crete is there, a fully equipped large kitchen, roof terrace and a pool with beautiful views of the mountains.

The villa literally has everything including loo rolls and washing powder. It really is a home from home. Spotlessly clean. Rustic but modern. Bug nets on the windows (with electric shutters). Outside space is big & very well kept. All beds comfortable with plump pillows. Duvets if needed. Big living area with comfy sofa. Heated pool & pool cover which kept the pool at 27° without the need to heat it. Pool cleaning robot kept the pool spotless. Robot lawn mower kept the grass tidy & free from fallen leaves. Lots of water & cakes on arrival plus he brought us special bread and also eggs from their chickens. Cats - not an issue at all. Definitely need a car. Nikoloas & Antonia are both lovely. They meticulously cleaned the pool and pool area after the orange dust storm. Communication was excellent. He checked in with us after the earthquake and also sent suggestions for things to do. I would absolutely recommend this villa. This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in.
