Our accommodation is located in the outskirts of the municipality of Schagen, overlooking the fields and the Grote Sloot. The city of Schagen with the train station and extensive choice of shops are located 5 km away. The sea is easily accessible both by bicycle and by car at a distance of 8 km with a ride through the meadows and bulb fields of Noord-Holland. In addition, other cities are easily accessible, such as Den Helder, Hoorn and Alkmaar. Breakfast is possible, on request and in consultation.

Just a few kilometers from the lively town of Schagen and ten kilometers from the sea and beach is our B and B in the authentic village of Barsingerhorn. We offer you a lot of privacy in the B and B, which is located in the former coach house with its own entrance (1868) and terrace. We have tried to preserve the character of the former and combine it with the requirements of the present time. The bathroom is new, and the double bed is spacious and has a good mattress. You are warmly welcome!

Every day there are organized beach rides on horseback, where we ride through the beautiful nature of van den Helder. 2/3 persons. Then this fairy tale location, between the small village of De Waal and next to nature reserve "Waalenburg," in the middle of the island, is perfect for you, to explore Texel from here. The B&B, located on the first floor, offers a stunning view of the garden, the farmland and the polder. In the garden (4000 m²), there is an ecological swimming pond where you can start the day with a dive followed by our luxury breakfast.

Are you looking for more space than the average hotel room? Then this place is suitable for you! Our sitting area exudes atmosphere for lounging, at the window a table for 2. In the cozy kitchenette you will find everything to warm up something in the oven and make coffee or tea or grab a cool drink from the fridge. Natural materials, personal touches and attention to reuse make this place feel like a second home. A spacious walk-in shower/toilet and comfortable bed complete it.

B&B Kahakai by the sea - vegan breakfast

You will be sleeping in a spacious room with box spring bed, Nespresso machine and private, large bathroom. For the vegan breakfast, there is a choice of homemade bread, toppings, fruit, fresh juice, oatmeal and some yogurt. As much as possible local and organic. Breakfast is completely vegan, but don't let that stop you as a non-vegan. We will prepare breakfast at half past nine in front of the door. The price includes breakfast and tourist tax of 2.60 per person per night.

B&B centrally located on Texel

Our B&B is located on the top floor of our home in De Waal, centrally located on Texel, the ideal base for exploring the island. Waalenburg nature reserve is 1 km from the house. Here you can walk or cycle through one of the most beautiful nature reserves on Texel. The various museums are also easily accessible. Including Kaapskil and of course Ecomare where you can visit the seals. Den Burg, the largest village on the island with various shops, is 2 km away.

Noordwest8 You will stay in a spacious room in a beautiful environment with views of the sea, beach and dunes. The private bathroom, with shower, sink and toilet, has recently been completely renovated. The table on which we serve breakfast, is also very suitable as a desk, in the event that you are staying with us for work in stead of vacation. When the weather is nice you can have breakfast on your own terrace, or relax at the end of the day with a drink.

Every morning, a fresh breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients is served in the breakfast room.

Warthog Family is a unique holiday home, reminiscent of a small village. 'This village' is equipped for 1 to 5 people and is all alone for you an your partner, your family or your couple of friends! Warthog Family is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest on our nature campsite. This holiday home is approximately 20m2 in size and consists of three separate cottages. The cottages are connected by a spacious wooden terrace of 15 m2.

The Front Room(19m2), adjoins the spacious living room and is equipped with a twin bed 160*210 (extra long). The bathroom (4m2) has a spacious walk-in shower and is easily accessible for when you are a little less able to walk. Both B&B rooms use a shared pantry and a spacious living room, with their own comfortable seating area for each.
