Kid-friendly holiday rentals in De Ronde Venen

We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

Anna et Ruud sont des hôtes très attentifs et bienveillants. Ils sont accueillants et veillent au bien être de leurs locataires. La maison est superbe, décorée avec goût. La vue sur la rivière est splendide. Admirer les couchers de soleils depuis la maison ou la petite terrasse au bord de l'eau en prenant l'apéritif est exceptionnel. La literie est très confortable, il y a des moustiquaires dans les chambres, permettant d'ouvrir sans difficulté les fenêtres la nuit. La cuisine et la buanderie sont très bien équipées. L'endroit est très calme au milieu de la nature et des animaux. Vous n'êtes pas loin des parkings P+R d'Amsterdam, ainsi que de plusieurs autres jolies villes alentours. Anna vous indique plein d'informations dans un classeur. Les supermarchés sont à moins de 10 minutes en voiture, on roule doucement et on profite ;-) L'accès à la maison avec une boîte à clés est très pratique. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Anna et Ruud et les remercions pour leur accueil.

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Abcoude! It's a quiet, picturesque town with excellent grocery stores and a few charming restaurants and pubs. The location is ideal—just a short and easy transit ride into Amsterdam and the airport (AMS), with great connections to cities like Rotterdam, Delft, and Haarlem. We rented a car for part of our stay, which was very convenient, and the bonus of free parking made it even better. For our early morning flight, we used Uber (€60), and the drive to the airport took less than 20 minutes. The house was exactly as pictured—spacious and perfect for our group of five adults. We especially enjoyed the generous layout, the peaceful garden, and the private deck off the master bedroom. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed. Wendy was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this home and its location to anyone planning a visit to the Netherlands!

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est à la fois assez loin d'Amsterdam pour être au calme mais pas trop loin pour pouvoir si rendre facilement (environ 10 min de voiture + 10-15 min de métro).

We had a lovely 3 days weekend in the tiny house. It is so cosy, so quiet , so … everything ! A real nest. Nothing is missing to have a great moment. It is very well situated and the bikes and parking space are an appreciated plus. Lida and Remko are really fantastic hosts. It has been a real pleasure to meet and spend time with them. If we could rate more we would for sure , but only 5 stars then Do not hesitate to book , you won’t regret We highly recommend the tiny house

Very pretty house in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of natural light. The place was far better than the pictures. 20 minute drive from the airport with private parking. The owner lives next door and was very welcoming.

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

What a wonderful spot in such a peaceful area. The flat was everything we needed and more. The personal touches we so nice and made us feel at home.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

Was a very enjoyable stay at this property, location was perfect, host was very good at communicating and making me feel welcome. Also was very understanding In regards to checking out on the final day, would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming trip in a stunning location!

I stayed for 2 nights in Vinkeveen and truly enjoyed my time there. The area is beautiful and very pleasant. The host was incredibly warm and helpful, and the check-in was absolutely smooth. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Le logement est spacieux et dans un Quartier agréable. C’était un peu éloigné d’Amsterdam mais nous le savions avant d’arriver. Globalement, le lieu est bien desservi. Nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n’avons pas rencontré nos hôtes mais nous étions en contact sur what’s app et les échanges étaient clairs et utiles. Cette intimité nous a bien convenue.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der Unterkunft, da wir für einen Konzertbesuch angereist sind. Wir hätten uns aber gewünscht noch einige Tage dranzuhängen, da die Lage und die Unterkunft unglaublich schön waren. Wir wurden herzlichst von Dick und Bianca empfangen und konnten unser E-Auto an der Wohnung laden. Die Nutzung der Fährräder, des Gartens und des Grills waren dann noch ein Add-On dass den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben. Die Wohnung war extrem sauber, sodass man sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt hat. Wir empfehlen jedem diese Wohnung der eine ruhige Lage in der Natur sucht, und trotzdem die Nähe zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Amsterdam nicht missen will. Danke vielmals für diese schönen zwei Tage bei euch in der Unterkunft!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

My first visit with my daughter to Amsterdam. We had several activities planned and our location was perfect: Access to tram. Very walkable area. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery markets. The suite was comfortable and large enough for two people. We enjoyed ourselves and no worries regarding the accommodations.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Morningstar is a beautiful place to stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location could not be better. It is right across the canal from The Ann Frank house. There are many wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby. The hosts have thought of everything. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.
