Cottage holiday rentals in DeBary

Sue's place was perfect for our theme park break. While we love the chaos of the parks during the day, we like somewhere quiet to escape to on an evening, and this place was exactly that. The cottage had everything you could imagine needing, and more! Having Aldi on the drive in (or a 5 minute evening stroll away) was also very handy for picking up essentials. Even though we stayed over a week we didn't find the time to make use of the pool, but it would be so perfectly located if you wanted to take advantage of it given its proximity.

this was our second stay at this home both for two weeks,what a lovely home this is and full of character with lots of nooks and crannys everywhere,plenty of room though maybe a bit smallish for 6 adults but ideal for four,very clean inside and out with beautifull views and lots of wildlife to see from the patio area,we saw deer,gatorts,racoons,snake,turtles,various birds of all sizes including an osprey,diana the owner was very helpfull with any problems,,,,,,,,,,,the only problem we had was the annoying noise,dust ect from the large building site directly next door,sadly they have dug up the smallish woods next to this property and building more homes which is such a shame though it didnt ruin our holiday in any way just a shame though,hopefully it will be finished soon and will look better though nothing can replace the trees they cut down,thank you so much diana for letting us stay there,hopefully will rebook for next year.

I had a great stay. There was a minor issue with the first property when we arrived, but the host responded and resolved it quickly by relocating us. The second place was clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the host’s quick communication and hospitality. Would definitely book again!

My mom and I had a wonderful week at the cottage, it was just as described and we were very comfortable there. Thanks to Joyce and her son Ron for trouble shooting the TVs. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The pair of Sandhill Cranes that visited a couple of times was a nice touch too.

The place was clean and inviting. It was nice having a separate A/C unit in the bedroom. The instructions getting into the unit was clear and easy as well. We only stayed for one night and it fit all our needs. Would definitely stay again.

We truly appreciated this sweet little home. It was in a central location to family members we were visiting. It was very clean, organized, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The deck overlooking the pond always had a wonderful breeze- very peaceful place to spend time. I enjoyed figuring out the layout of the neighborhood and it made for an enjoyable walk every morning. The hosts are super KIND!! From the first confirmation message, check-in instructions, and throughout our stay they were attentive and responsive. A karaoke music thing Friday evening and then water inflatables for the kids on Saturday— very kind for the kids especially- nice community!

We stayed at this property a year ago in the upstairs unit. I originally rented that one again (I had been thrilled with it). After I booked it, Jordyn told me she had accidentally double booked the unit. She moved us to this slightly more expensive unit at no charge, and i didnt even have to rebook. She took care of it for us. Personally, I would still book the upstairs unit because of a couple small details that are just personal preference. Both units are excellent. This downstairs one is large, has a beautiful porch, and a slightly larger bathroom. The full size washer dryer was a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the full kitchen as well. The location is excellent. County Road 44A is still a quiet country road in an area that has been rapidly developing over the past couple decades. It is close to Alexander Springs, Mt. Dora, and only 45 miles from the beach or Disney. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back next time we are in central florida.

Beautiful little home with a little antique charm located just outside of the city. The home is fully stocked with everything you may need if you want to stay and cook, extra pillows, linens, ect. Worth noting ...there is an adorable private patio off the back I must have missed in the pictures, a delightful surprise. Parking was easy. Only down fall is, there is only one bathroom sadly and the TV in the master has no signal/cable, so no tv in bed. I called and left a message re: on the number provided on the check-in, with no response. This wasn't a big deal since we were hardly there.

Great option if you need to be close to Orlando and Cape Canaveral. The place is really clean and comfortable! Aida is really helpful. For sure I would come back!!

I’ve stayed at several of the cottages at the Alling House and the property is beautiful. In general all the cottages are very nice. This one (Homestead) is the oldest of the bunch and does show its age. That being said the unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Cute little house right next to the beach. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. House is a bit older but cozy and charming. About a mile from Flagler entrance ramp. Quiet neighborhood even though close to local bars you do not hear the night life. Will was very responsive. Would stay again.

Fantastic little home so close to downtown Mt Dora! Exceeded my expectations! Very comfortable and clean accommodations..... comfy bed and living area for relaxing and watching a little TV to wind down from the day. Loved the fenced yard for our dog! We hope to get back in cooler weather to enjoy the lovely lighted, covered area in back. Jennine was spot on with the description. We didn't require any special attention or requests. We felt at home and welcome the moment we stepped inside. Would totally recommend this and hope to be able to return.

This house was spotless! That’s a big thing when I rent an Airbnb and it exceeded my expectations, if we travel to mount dora again we will absolutely stay here!

We had a great time at Lauren’s place. It was beautiful and very peaceful. And only 15 minutes to restaurants and activities. Would stay again.

I remember staying at Tropical Palms many times when I was a kid… and I have to say, it was always fun and enjoyable, but the experience has even improved after many years. Sharon’s cottage was clean and well maintained. Clear instructions both in the app and inside the house. She was very responsive and friendly. The house looked just like the pictures and had all the amenities you might need. You just can’t beat the price plus proximity to Disney. I’ve stayed on property many times and it pays to stay just a few minutes away and save some cash. This place is super private, has a heated pool, tons of nearby stores and restaurants, and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Sharon!

Our stay was wonderful! The home was very inviting, comfortable and relaxing. Great location that’s close enough to anything that you need to get to. The home was also packed well with all the basic essentials, especially the easily forgotten items! There was even a white noise machine, a bonus for my husband! We definitely will be back, especially being 5 minutes from my daughter’s house.

This was a perfect place to stay for a weekend . Lawrence was an awesome host (kind , knowledgeable and helpful) . He offered some great dinner recommendations and had snacks and wine for us when we got there. The cottage was clean , cozy, the bed was comfortable, we were close to downtown - basically everything was perfect! We will definitely be back !

From the moment we walked through the door, everything was just fantastic. Very clean, and exactly how the pictures looked. Nights sitting dockside was amazing, even with the Florida heat. the breeze from the lake just made it peaceful. Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here

Yupon Cottage was so perfect for us that we stayed a month! It’s in a safe, walkable, and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are super friendly and right next door if you need anything. We definitely hope to go back.
