Beach house holiday rentals in Del Mar

Brooke was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. AirBnB sent us the incorrect info to check in, but Brooke text us back right away with the correct gate & door codes. Everything was so clean and tidy (which is definitely saying something being so close to the beach!). The view absolutely can't be beat, and the home is so cozy and beautiful. We had the best time and certainly hope to be lucky enough to return some day! Thank you, Brooke!!

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

This was our fourth time staying at Ryan's place and as always, it was great. The area is amazing, lots to do, with great eateries nearby, and walking distance to the beach. We love staying here and enjoying Taco Stand, Q'ero, Good on Ya and the Italian trattorias. We also love road cycling up and down the PCH and into the hilly parts of Rancho Bernardo and San Elijo Hills. If you're looking for a place to stay and enjoy the surroundings, this is it.

We stayed at Maria's place for a very quick trip and needed room for family members. It was perfect. Maria was wonderful about communicating and I truly appreciate her flexibility with family members checking in. The place is a great set up for children, too. My five-year-old grand daughter was with us, and she has games and other things for children to do, including boogie boards for when the weather is warmer. I would love to return sometime and actually spend a few more days enjoying the area. We were there for a graduation with a fast turnaround, and to be honest, I wanted to stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s home. The proximity to the beach was amazing and Moonlight was a 10 minute walk. We appreciated all of the beach towels, chairs, toys and wagon. Close to good restaurants and overall a peaceful and friendly neighborhood.

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio just steps from the beach—only about 15 feet away! The space is well-equipped with plenty of amenities and surrounded by family-friendly activities. It’s perfect for a family of four, especially with young children. The studio includes a pack and play and high chair, which made traveling with our toddlers so much easier. Everything was very clean and peaceful, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Ginger was kind, helpful, and very responsive. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Both Christopher and his home are great! You are a street away from the ocean, a runners and cyclists paradise location, so many shops near you and a quiet neighborhood. Such a cozy escape. The dogs also loved it from exploring the yard to a peaceful place inside to rest. We will be back!!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

This is a great house. Very spacious and clean. It is on the corner of a main road, but the noise wasn’t a big problem and the location is super convenient for getting around Del Mar and other parts of north county. The backyard was great.

Will definitely be back! House was perfect size for family of 4 and right across the street from the beach. It was helpful to have a garage but street parking was not difficult. We had everything we needed for our stay, no complaints!

Our stay was great. Beautiful home and beautiful views. We went with two other families and each family basically had their own floor which worked out perfect. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay in Cardiff-by-the-Sea! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We had an amazing stay! The house was immaculate, full of the comforts of home, and beach essentials. Our family especially appreciated the kid friendly aspects (toys and games for the house and to take to the beach!) We also loved the walkability to several casual restaurants and coffee spots!

Had a great stay. 5 adults stayed for a long weekend trip. We had plenty of room to spread out and the living room opens up to the outside to have a really cool space. Ebikes were fun to ride and the hot tub dip at the end of the day felt great. A couple minutes walk to the beach!

We loved our stay!! It was roomy and so scenic, felt like a beautiful treehouse overlooking the ocean. The neighborhood was so pretty and walk to beach was not far. Some construction in the area so some noise at times. The home worked well for our large family and the outdoor areas were nice too.

This house was extremely spacious, allowing for many areas to relax, play games with family, and enjoy food. The backyard was a beautiful space to dine, relax as well. Everything was wonderfully stocked and we didn’t need anything while we were there. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking in the area.
