Tent holiday accommodation in Delaware River

Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful sunset views. The kitchen, sauna and common space are very thoughtfully equipped and maintained. We came back for a second stay and would be back again. Kyle is a lovely host, so nice and helpful!

First time staying here. It's beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Friendly owners and dog (Mona). Nice fire pit to hang out. Very quiet. We stayed in the tent. Had plenty of room. Bring your own headlamps (flashlights) so you can walk around at night. Tent will need a lamp or your headlamps. There is no electricity, however you can go into the big kitchen area and they have charging outlets. Bathrooms were pristine and smelled really nice. Property was clean as well. Didn't see any trash on the ground. You can stay in several different places within the property. They are well spaced, so privacy is nice. They have yurts and A frame cabins. Would definitely recommend. Check their schedules because they don't always have air bnb. They're seasonal.

We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

Such a great experience. Peaceful and serene. I’m so glad we made the trip (6.5 hours) and definitely will be back for a longer stay! It’s so inviting, Laura was an amazing host responding quickly to inquiries. I will definitely be recommending this get away.

Good stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the campground! The tent was exactly as described, and the campsite was extremely clean. We loved the solar lights kicking on at night. Having a grill, fans, lots of seating options, every detail added up all to make our trip so relaxing and easy. Make sure you bring cooking supplies, a cooler, etc. as you would for regular camping. Eric and staff were incredibly quick to respond and helpful with anything and everything we needed. We did decide to do paintball, and the course was large and awesome. The grounds look as though they are still under construction, but this didn’t bother us. The “glamping” sites were all set up beautifully, and we can’t wait to come back.

Amazing!! More than just a tent; a peaceful oasis! Decorated wonderfully, the lights around the yard gave off such a warm glow. The outhouse was fabulous, more like an outdoor spa! The shower is nothing short of luxurious! We sat by the fire every night just listening to the birds & crickets, watching the fireflies come out, truly a wonderful place & we cannot wait to go back! Jess & Dan are attentive, gracious hosts, full of info about the area! Already sent the listing to some friends who were asking about it from my photos!

This was very convenient for my appointments at Johns Hopkins. We used the fire pit one night and Im sure it is a nice house in the summer with the large pool and deck. The kitchen was large and even had some food if you forgot anything. It was just the two of us but you can rent the above upstairs for another bathroom and other rooms available. They are locked off if you don't rent them. Im a pillow snob so I bring my own pillows since I sleep with a lot of them which I recommend if you love extra pillows like me. The shower was nice and hot and the place is clean.

Nick and his wife were wonderful hosts! When we arrived, (late night 9pm), we were able to grab some burgers at the restaurant and chit chat. After following the check in instructions, and speaking with Nick at the restaurant, we found our tent very easily! The surroundings and woods were very beautiful and just the perfect glamping experience. Overall we would love to glamp here again for some fun rafting/exploring around the Delaware River!

this place was a great last minute spot for my husband and I when we didn't have the kids with us. we brought our dog and had such a nice peaceful night. The stream and pond are amazing. we made steak and asparagus on the grill. overall great stay

Scott was a friendly and responsive host. He accommodated my needs and was easy to communicate with. His tents are surrounded by beautiful nature and a peaceful haven. Perfectly situated less than 10 miles from Bethel Woods. I shall return!

My girlfriend and I just pitched a tent there after a concert at bethel woods to sleep instead of driving home. Worked great!

This was such a nice place! We plan on coming back again with the rest of the gang as it was just my daughter and I this time around. We loved it!

The perfect DMV getaway. Conveniently located and perfect for the kids. The amenities were awesome and the Woodstock Inn nearby was perfect for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely plan another visit.

Fun camping trip! I enjoyed the peaceful location. There were other campers in the field (not too close) but it didn’t feel too alone. I loved watching the sheep graze in the nearby pasture and experiencing a stay on top of a vintage Jeep! There was quite a bit of animal feces at the location by our campfire and stay but other than that, it was a fun experience. It seemed like a safe place and there was a winery not far with live music. It was nice to relax in the outdoors!
