Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Our vacation home will be completed in 2024 and has been furnished with a lot of joy and love. It is an oasis in the middle of a beautiful landscape with a view of nature. Sommersdorf is located in the beautiful "Mecklenburg Switzerland" and directly on Lake Kummerow. The surroundings invite you to a wide variety of leisure activities such as walks, bike rides, swimming, paddling and much more. We are happy to give tips for excursions, restaurants, cafés and shopping.

In our fully equipped kitchen (2-burner induction hot plate, dishwasher, espresso maker, fridge, microwave, coffee and various spices) you can prepare fresh food with an unrestricted view of the garden and with ingredients from our garden. The bathtub protruding to the outside, as well as our daybed, invite you to relax.

Our apartments have been completely rebuilt in traditional solid oak half-timbered construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances. Our individual, cozy apartment can be found in an old farmhouse. We renovated the original apartment Kastanienblüte in 2011. In August 2023, the apartment moved in the building. You now have no stairs in the apartment and no thresholds. Also ideal for walkers and wheelchairs. The rest of the house is now home to our daughter and her small family.
