Waterfront holiday rentals in Den Helder

The apartment was absolutely wonderful, right on the canal with a nice view. Purmerend is a very nice little town with beautiful parks. If you are coming for Amsterdam it is a little inconvenient to get into the city, but still manageable. If you are coming for purmerend I couldn’t imagine a better place for the price. Sandra was very helpful and a great host as well.

Excellent emplacement, nous avons quasiment tout fait à pied. Rue et canal très calmes, environnement agréable. Hôte toujours disponible, réactif et très sympa. Je valide et recommande.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende! Die Unterkunft war gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man kann sowohl den Strand als auch das Dünenresaervat (umsonst) fußläufig erreichen! Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns persönlich begrüßt und verabschiedet. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder 🙂

Wir haben uns bei Ympkje sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war wie auf den Bildern und sehr schön eingerichtet. Als Willkommens Gruß gab es sogar Kuchen und frische Blumen. Die Lage war sehr ruhig, gut zu finden und nur 10 Minuten von Meer entfernt. Ympkje war sehr hilfsbereit und immer gut zu erreichen. In der Wohnung hat man alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Einziges Manko, das Schlafzimmer ist nicht durch eine Tür vom Rest der Wohnung getrennt. Wir waren mit unserem kleinen Sohn dort, können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dorthin reisen.

Ich hatte eine wirklich schöne Zeit im Studio von Martijn. Der Strand und das Meer sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und abends noch die Sauna nutzen zu können, war wirklich klasse!

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

Le logement était conforme à la description et Karine nous a permis de modifier l’horaire d’arriver L’appartement sur le au est agréable et un petit déjeuner était prêt dans le frigo. Un super marché et les transports sont à proximité Seul bémol : le canapé lit était cassé, heureusement ce sont des enfants qui ont dormi dedans.

Eva’s place was perfect for a central base and had everything needed - great having a washing machine also. Location was great - easy walk to town for eating and also 15mins walk to the station. Eva herself was amazing and helped me out quickly when I locked myself out.

Enkhuizen is a beautiful city. And Bart’s place is very central. Everything in the city is a 15 minute walk! Bright home with lots of options for enjoying a meal inside or on the patio. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

Eine rundum tolles Haus im Ferienpark de Krim. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, aber auch sehr zentral. Zum Zentrum des Parks sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten, was mit kleineren Kindern super ist. Der Kontakt zu Gerdi ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub auf Texel und kommen gerne wieder.

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

Wir hatten tolle Tage im Haus von Richard! Die Lage ist exzellent, schön ruhig und mit dem See natürlich super zum erfrischen. Wir hatten das Boot dazu gemietet und auch eine schöne Zeit auf dem Wasser und dem größeren See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, klimatisierte Räume waren perfekt an den heißen Tagen. Das zusammensitzen auf der Terrasse am See am Abend, super! Mit dem Haus macht man absolut nichts falsch und würden es immer wieder buchen.

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

Erg mooie locatie, heel dicht bij t centrum. Belangrijk om te melden is dat er geen parkeerplaats is voor de auto. 500 meter verderop is een gratis parkeerplaats. Wij vonden dit geen probleem. Eerst de bagage afzetten en dan de auto naar de parkeerplaats brengen, ging goed (eenrichtingsverkeer). Het huisje is modern en gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien! Treinstation en bushalte zijn vlakbij om de verdere omgeving met t OV te verkennen. In de tuin staat een schuurtje waar je evt je eigen/gehuurde fietsen kwijt kunt. Het is een rustige omgeving en toch dichtbij t centrum! Heerlijke plek en zeker een aanrader.

Die Unterkunft hat uns komplett überzeugt: sehr sauber, alles vorhanden was man für eine Urlaubswoche braucht, sehr bequeme Betten, tolles Bad, ansprechender Außenbereich. Sehr freundliche, unkomplizierte Gastgeber, jederzeit erreichbar und mit proaktiven Hinweisen, z.B. auf die geänderte Wegführung. Wir können das Haus von Micaela und John uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Airbnb! Das Haus war genauso, wie auf den Fotos – sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Aussicht aufs Wasser, das hat den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Auch kleine Extras wie ein Willkommensgruß und lokale Tipps waren eine schöne Überraschung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Wir waren im Juni 2025 für 7 Tage in der Klaver Garage und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Lily’s place. Tastefully decorated in blue and white, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good welcome and instruction leaflet in several languages, great balcony and view of the IJsselmeer and your own parking spot in the back. If you don’t have children I wouldn’t stay in this area during the school holidays as it will be busy and noisy. Now it was perfect, quiet and peaceful and would definetely recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

Gostamos muito do alojamento pela sua localização relativamente aos pontos turísticos do país. Os anfitriões sempre muito simpáticos e super rápidos a responder ás mensagens. Apesar do quarto ser dentro da casa deles nunca sentimos falta de privacidade e tínhamos tudo o que precisávamos dentro do quarto :)
