Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Dent County

Hi Melanie, This nest you have available to folks like us us just amazing. With great amenities, keeping everything in mind for couples or family visiting the place. Well stacked with utensils, baking and grilling appliances; this was truly home away. We carried a lot of stuffs anticipating we may need; which we didnot! Thanks. The backyard us great and just lazying around will not be at all a bad idea. Thanks for the hospitality and also prompt response and suggestions. Highly recommended and good deal for the money!

Chad's place was PERFECT for us. The location and peace and quiet that we experienced there made it one of the best places we have ever stayed. It was close to all of the outdoor activities we wanted to do (hiking, birding, horsebackriding) and it was really wonderful to come back to the house and enjoy the back deck and yard. We even saw the fox that Chad mentioned to us! The house was very comfortable, especially the king beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We highly recommend this house and thank Chad for offering his home!

We stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. This home is BEAUTIFUL and the pictures do not do it justice. My friends and I would love to come back and enjoy a nice weekend away.

Perfect place for a guys fishing trip. Plenty of room and space to cook. Very close to Montauk.

Amber and Rocky are terrific hosts, this was our second stay with them and will always be looking to book with them. Fresh bedding’s and towels, plenty of paper goods, whatever you need to fill right at home.

James was fantastic! We are locals to the area but are in transition of selling our house to buying property and developing it for us to live one. All that being said a winter storm hit our area. At the moment we are in a camper….we lost power due to ice and power lines down. I thought maybe someone would have an Airbnb around with a wood stove and this one did!!! We got in direct contact with James and he helped us out tremendously! It was nice to see all the wonderful comments about our small town and area in his guest book. It was a cozy, WARM stay. Just what we needed.

Beautiful property, secluded and great views from the hot tub. House is large and plenty of space, along with lots of essentials to use in the kitchen. Host was friendly and responsive. We had a blast spending a rainy weekend here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murray’s Mill. Grant went above and beyond to help make our stay a wonderful experience. They were so thoughtful in all the little ways. I especially loved how the house is very kid friendly. Totes of toys (magnatiles, random toys, coloring and activities books) were provided. The tree swing was a big hit. Many other features made the home lovely and inviting. Beds were comfortable. Decor was modern, unique, and adorable. Home was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. We were surprised to even find condiments that came in handy when we grilled. Front porch was pleasant for peaceful evenings and quiet mornings . Property was beautiful. We had a wonderful experience and hope to stay again!!

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed, except a second dining chair. If you are going to spend any time in the cabin you'd better love the one you're with, as it is even smaller than it looks in the pictures. The lower bunk can't really accommodate more than one person comfortably. The location is wonderful.

Our stay was excellent at Hobson's Holler. The space was clean and in great condition and easy enough for my family of 9 to sleep in comfortably. Would highly encourage anyone that is looking for a quiet place to stay to stay here.

Our family stayed at the Lunker Bunker during our mid-week trout fishing trip to Montauk. It was such a great experience--I am hoping that we can make this a yearly adventure. We were traveling with our children (14, 12, 11, and 9 mos) and there was plenty of sleeping room for all between the two bedrooms and the pull-out couch. We don't have a dishwasher at our house, so the kids were excited to farm that chore out to the machine during our stay, and all the little extras (games, cards, hot cocoa) were greatly appreciated. We had everything we needed to cook supper, bathe the baby, and be at the 6:30 AM fishing start without having to be out of bed very early. The washing machine was such a blessing after fishing with children all day, and we had a fire one night and made campfire pies--we enjoyed the porch. My 14-year-old, who recently described church camp as "decent", approached me to say, "Hey, this place is pretty cool!" I'm not sure you can get a better compliment than that!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described- clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We felt right at home, our stay was so cozy, peaceful, and private. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!
