If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

We were delighted to stay in this beautiful apartment. The views are breathtaking! The building is old but charming. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment spacious. The gardens are reserved for the owners. The part allocated to Airbnb gives a view of the lake from above. The parking space is on the street (for at least 3 small cars). We had no problem finding a place. We had a few small problems due to the age of the building but our host was always present when we needed it and it had no impact on the pleasure we had staying in the apartment. It is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. One of our favorites from our trip. We'll be happy to go back!

Tiziana and Carlo are truly exceptional hosts - they were extremely welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! The apartment itself is fantastic - it had everything we could need and more, spotlessly clean, a comfy bed and set in a beautiful garden. The location was ideal too - a short walk to the lake, train station and shops. We had a brilliant stay and we can’t recommend it enough!

Very clean accommodation. Very well located in a peaceful place, close to the train station, the lake and a small shop (convenient). Francesca is always available and has good tips for visits. The terrace is very nice. Excellent stay.

Truly spectacular - one of the best views I've enjoyed from any accommodation ever. The home inside was also perfect for a short term stay for two people - super cozy and very clean. Communications from the hosts before and during our stay were great. The home is a little bit further outside of the city then we realized when looking at the map (~15 minute drive up the hill) so take advantage of the restaurant recommendations nearby! Agriturismo Zertin was fantastic

A perfect stay! We loved the apartment, it was so beautifully decorated and well located. A perfect location to the restaurants and lake. A wonderful host with great recommendations and communication. The place itself was great, lots of nice restaurants and the public beach was lovely. 10/10 stay!

The stay was perfectly fine and is as described: clean, good location, spacious,... Debora responded very quickly and recommended several restaurants nearby. We were also very flexible as we arrived later in the evening due to traffic, which we greatly appreciate. The train station is nearby and is convenient to visit other towns nearby. We greatly enjoyed our stay and we recommend everyone to stay here.

It was a great choice to stay - not only Alessia is a great host - but also the place is perfect if you want to enjoy peaceful time and have walkable access to the centre. Please feels like home due to carefully selected amenities and materials used. Alessia is going an extra mile in being a host - she helps with arrival and departure, gives local tips that one would not know otherwise! Beautiful view on Pescallo bay, delicious fruits just next door! This was a perfect weekend gateway - thank you Alessia!

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Easily the best Air BnB experience I have ever had. Rosa Katherine is tremendously kind and a true super-host. My wife and I eloped in Bellagio during our time here and Rosa made sure we had all of the necessary accommodations. The place is peaceful and luxurious with breathtaking views better than the pictures. You will definitely want a vehicle - we rented a Vespa from Roberto at Varenna Vespa Rent. It was simple and allowed us to wisp in and out of all the little lake towns and ride into the mountains a bit. The bed is super comfortable and the AC worked great, we had very high temps one day and it kept up fantastically. On top of being an incredible host - Rosa Katherine was genuinely eager to make sure that we were always taken care of with a deep level of hospitality.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. Super helpful and clear communication. The Airbnb is exactly as shown, beautiful view from the balcony. Location is secluded however and hard to reach places unless you have hired a car. So just a tip for future visitors- hire a car :)

Our three day break at Lake Como was perfect to enjoy at this property. The location on the mountain offers a fantastic view over the lake and you directly feel an inner peace when you reach the mountain village. The roads to the property are very narrow as described. This is what you should be prepared for. The place was very clean and cozy. We felt right at home there. The highlight of this accommodation includes the view and the location of the wellness area. Facing the lake in the hot tub is very special. The restaurant directly in the village is also highly recommended. All in all a beautiful stay and the perfect place to unplug.

Best accommodation in our entire Italy trip. The place was tastefully decorated and Dana obviously took pride in hosting! Her hospitality went above and beyond and the place was very comfortable. I had a super, quiet and relaxing time in the apartment. Everything was perfectly clean and the communication always worked very well! Despite the relatively bad weather, I was able to take some nice walks and excursions on foot. The nature around the apartment is beautiful and the hot tub also served its purpose 👍 Thank you Chiara and family for the pleasant stay.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!
