Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Des Moines

I had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. While the house is small, it doesn’t feel cramped in the least. You have everything you need in a very workable space. If I need a place in DM again, this will be my first choice.

Highly recommended home and host! We stayed at this property before with a family member and we were very impressed, so were glad to find it available for our most recent trip. It is clean, quiet, close to great things to do and restaurants, and feels very comfortable. Very good communication and we felt very welcomed. This will definitely continue to be our first choice every time we visit Des Moines!

We were only there one night but our family was very comfortable. Love the big living room!

Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Our favorite parts were the location and back yard! The grill and play structure were perfect for our family. I would highly recommend.

Brett’s place is one of our favorite places to stay. It is a very comfortable little house with great spaces to walk dogs. Brett told me about a wonderful Iowa nature trail very close by. It was so peaceful and quiet and my dogs loved it! We always enjoy our stay and Brett is a wonderful, friendly, helpful host! We will definitely be back again! Great place! Helpful instructions provided regarding parking. Large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms with heated toilet sets, say less! Kitchen was perfect size and provided anything and everything you’d need. Would highly recommend!

The apartment we rented from Midwest Hospitality was close to everything we needed in West Des Moines, it’s extremely spacious and was perfect for a long weekend with my family.

We were a group of 11 and Jody was very helpful with our last min plans after another AirBnb cancelled on us last min. This is a yearly even that we do in Des Moines and look forward to booking from him in the future.

The place was conveniently located, very good size, and the price seemed reasonable. It did indicate that the evenings were loud with a bar/restaurant across the street, but we knew that going into it. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so very much.

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

Super cute home! Everything was super clean and the home was nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the backyard. We brought our dog along and he enjoyed all the room to run around in. My daughter loved hanging out in the camper and that it was named Fiona just like her. The property was close to downtown Des Moines which made it super convenient. We would love to stay here again next time we are in the area!

Very friendly host. The apartment has a lot of space, is very clean and easy to live in. When we come back we would love to rent this apartment again. Around the corner several good restaurants and a hyvee to get groceries.

Great spot to stay when visiting Ankeny that is able to accommodate the whole family.

Very quaint. Very clean. They have TVs in both bedrooms which we love and all the apps loaded so very easy to use

Julie's place is beautiful! We walked through the front arch each day and experienced the beautiful smell of the flowers! Great location with amazing houses around to admire. We spent a peaceful breakfast and dinner using the spacious front and back porches. The house had everything we needed and more! I highly recommend this home to stay at if you are in the area!

This place was better than we expected. The location was perfect! My boyfriend and I brought our two dogs, and they loved the large fenced in yard. The hosts were extremely polite, considerate, and responsive. We loved the aesthetic inside and all of the kitchen amenities. It felt very cozy and inviting. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
