Lake house holiday rentals in Detroit Lake

The house was beautiful. We biked the trails around the house everyday. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. We used the canoes and kayaks that were supplied with the house. Mariko was easy to work with. We had the best family time and the space was perfect for us all. What a special time.

We were in the area for my mom’s memorial and needed a place for our family to stay all together. It was the perfect amount of space for our large group and we felt right at home. Wish we could have stayed another day. My favorite part was sitting down on the little dock next to the river. So peaceful and beautiful! The yard is a beautiful wooded lot. Private and quiet. Well stocked kitchen. My sister in law was even able to make some pancakes for the kids to tide them over before we arrived with the food!

The lake house was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for all of us. The fire pit was wonderful we made s’mores. There was kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards. I would definitely rent from here again in the future. It was absolutely peaceful and wonderful. And Linda was absolutely a delight to work with. I will recommend to my friends and family. If you want an awesome getaway, peaceful, and quiet the place for you not to mention the absolutely beautiful view.

Matthew was helpful, responsive, and flexible. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The location was great too - walking distance to downtown and parks.

We loved the place, and Scott and Carrie were super easy to communicate with! They met our every need, and made our vacation weekend wonderful!

Eric's place was lovely - the view and river access were amazing, and he was very responsive whenever we reached out during our stay. We would recommend Eric has a host, and this lovely property, anytime!

This was our second time booking Jamie’s house. When our plans changed, Jamie was super flexible to accommodate our 2 day early arrival/ extension. House is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. Checkout is a breeze with clear instructions. We will be back.

This is a beautiful home and great for a good sized group. The lawn is beautiful and the house has an outstanding deck for hanging outside. The water level of the lake was noticeably very low and that was the only thing that caught us off guard, but it was still a lovely stay. Aimee has spent a lot of effort making sure all aspects of the stay have been considered and carefully curated. If you’re here on a clear night, the stars were absolutely outstanding. Would strongly recommend this stay for others!

This adorable home was so cozy and private. The house felt incredibly fresh and cared for. It felt more spacious than I had imagined as well. Comfortable beds and the primary suite's bathroom?! An amazing tub that feels so luxurious with the gorgeous views out into the backyard. Trees trees trees! Such a beautiful forested landscape and we saw deer in the morning out back! I would absolutely stay here again for a getaway. 💯

Lily’s house is close to great restaurants and was big enough for our family of four. Our dog loved the large fenced in back yard. The car charger was very convenient so we didn’t have to rely on public chargers. My only nitpick was that the downstairs bedroom got cold, even with the space heater Lily provided.

We enjoyed being able to stay in a beautiful spot that fit our whole family. It was very green and peaceful!

Great stay due to secluded location, near small town of Tumalo which has great coffee shops and food cart area. Amazing hike along the river. The home inside is beautiful and we did not want to leave! Thank you for a great stay.

Beautiful peaceful property, perfect for us to enjoy and have fun. It is spacious and I loved the garden. it is also close to stores and other activities while still able to enjoy nature. Definitely will be back!

Tracy and Bill’s hospitality was exceptional. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The lakeside cabin was extremely well equipped, thoughtfully furnished, warm and comfortable. We immediately felt at home.

Perfect location easy walking distance to the lake and all amenities. House was clean and quiet with peaceful back porch/yard. Mistakenly left a jacket there and owners reached out to me immediately and made personal arrangements to return it. Will absolutely be staying here again!

It was the most beautiful and peaceful getaway for our family! We had lots of fresh snow and it was an amazing time! The grounds guys kept the paths, driveways and cabin shoveled as the snow continued to fall! We fell in love with the area and are considering another trip in the summer to enjoy Tumalo Lake and Falls along with the hiking!

Excellent location. Great stay. Pictures are accurate, everything was in excellent repair. (Meaning furniture and appliances where in excellent condition) when you enter it looks and smells very clean. This one is on our short list of places that check all the boxes we need for a great stay. I usually cringe when I hear a management company runs the show. A Stones throw has it dialed in! They did a great job.

I had the luck of renting this home for an extended period of time while my own home was being renovated. The location is close to river and has a creek running through the backyard. There are trees surrounding the home so it feels like a cabin in the woods but you are just a few minutes from anything you need. There is a family of deer that visit the creek regularly and who stop to nibble on the trees. There is a fire pit next to the house for bonfires and relaxing. And 3 fireplaces so you can open the windows and listen to the creek while you read a book or cat nap. Very dog friendly neighborhood to boot. Aviad was a fantastic host, responsive and attentive, but rarely needed him because the house was set up perfectly. Even though we were excited to head back to our home it felt like we were leaving “home” when we checked out. This is truly a special space & made a stressful time in our lives feel like an oasis and retreat. If you are lucky enough to get this house: book it!

We had a wonderful time visiting Pine Hollow. The house had everything we needed. It was such an easy walk to the beautiful lake. Hidden gem that I'd like to keep secret, but highly recommend!

Beautiful setting. Great access to the lake. We had deer in the yard everyday and food to feed them. Huge decks with plenty of room for everyone. The home had a propane fire pit table on the deck. This property is very private and had everything we needed and some. Air conditioning worked great!! It was very warm. Bridget was very quick to respond when I had a question and we all had a fabulous stay. I look forward to renting again in the future and have referred this property to a friend before I left. SUCH an amazing spot, tucked away in an absolutely gorgeous location! The A-frame was perfect for 2 of us but would have been great for a larger group, too. Everything you need and then some. Super comfy bed, desk with a view, all the modern conveniences but w/ that "off-grid" feeling (if you want it, but there's wi-fi if you don't want to be that way 100% of the time!). The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, the photos can't quite do it full justice - there's a gorgeous lake, dock, trails all around, and if you can catch Jessica during your stay, she can even tell you where to find a secret waterfall nearby. The whole area has such a cool history and even a very cool future (things they're working on). We wished we could have stayed a whole week or longer. It's TRUE nature out there so you do need to be savvy about wildlife and critters - rural Oregon is not for the uber-sensitive. Can't say enough great things about the place, the host, the experience overall. Highly recommend!
