Newly remodeled, 110 yr old farm house and cattle ranch on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest off historic Route 66 Highway. We welcome those who can stay just one night or those who want to stay longer. Hike in our woods, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire, or just sit on the porch and relax! We have an Activity Barn with all sorts of outdoor gear/toys. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and we are close to the historic town of Carthage where there are several great restaurants.

Our home was originally built in 1905 by the somewhat notorious cigar manufacturer, Leon S. Boucher. The Flor De Leon was a popular brand of cigars that L.S. Boucher manufactured and sold here in downtown Joplin. My wife and I have lovingly renovated our home over the past year by combining its original historic charm with our own modern/eclectic style. We built this Natural Oak Log home in 1991. We cut the logs off of this place! Our family actually draw knifed the bark off each log:) and hammered each spike in. It sits on 25 acres.
