Carmen's Cabin-Comfortable, warm and relaxing!

Clean, comfortable and cute for those looking for a comfy place to get away from it all. Carmen’s Cabin was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. Off-grid Tiny House with Big Alaska Views

A cute and very well thought out tiny house. A lot of helpful instructions if you aren’t used to off grid living. It’s remote and quiet and the view is incredible! We had trouble with the water one night but the host fixed it quickly. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again!

Anastasha was a great host! Quickly responsive whenever we had any questions. The Airbnb was even nicer than the pictures and a wonderful location. super clean, had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. The view from the bedroom was beautiful. We had our own little parking space and the walk down to the beach was very nice. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend you look no further than this cute little place🙂

This accommodation surpassed everything that I was expecting. Being used to and comfortable in smaller cabins in Alaska. I was amazed at the amount of space and cleanliness of everything. Very comfortable interior and peaceful surroundings outside. It was a great long weekend with the family. We also loved the friendly cat on site.

Carol and Wally’s place is beautiful beyond words! It is peaceful, relaxing, restorative! Everything inside is designed to make you not only comfortable but visually enchanted. Everything we needed was present. Heater worked great and Wally’s special skill with woodworking was exceptional throughout this extremely well built cabin. The “Bug House” was a delightful addition sitting right on the edge of the pond and having a small wood stove with dry wood available for evening or day use. A well built dock is present for use on the pond if desired with kayaks also present. An overall delightful experience which we would not hesitate to use again!

Overall a great place to stay when you visit Homer. Secluded and hidden away from the road which was really nice to let our dogs out and roam. It is about 20 minutes from the Spit so not walkable or quick to just go out and do stuff. Leslie was a great host and very accommodating. Definitely a place we’d stay again with the dogs next time we are in Homer.
