Cath and Phil really couldn't be more amazing hosts! Thankyou so so much for letting us use your amazing home for my mums hen party!! The house was immaculate, super spacious, set up for a full party and was just honestly incredible. More than I ever imagined!! We made great use of the huge kitchen, dining room, pool room, garden area, living room and much more. I couldn't recommend this house enough for a hen do! Anything you need cath and Phil will be there to help you. Absolutely perfect. Thankyou again cath and Phil, the memories we will cherish forever xxxxx

Lovely cosy house which was clean and tidy. This was our second stay at Homestead and we will be coming back.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Booked this for my partners birthday, we had the most amazing stay, everything was exactly like the pictures, Lucy was very welcoming and was very friendly! We had the most beautiful stay and we will definitely be booking again!! There is an amazing restaurant just down the road called the gatsby, we had food and drinks here food was delicious and service was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a special day, had a lovely homely feel!

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Lovely peaceful place to stay, ideal if you like beautiful views, privacy and quiet. Jane was really helpful, met us when we arrived and settled us in, gave advice on places to eat and nice walks nearby. Enjoyed walking by the canal and local takeaway for dinner. Also had a visit from Jane’s cat which was the icing on the cake. Comfortable accommodation, would definitely return, hopefully soon. Thank you

dogs welcome but limited indoor space for them. lovely place but stairs to master bedroom not for people with limited mobility. lovely facilities and great surroundings.

We had a lovely stay at Karl’s place for a week when in the area for work. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed and the rooms were comfortable, though for us ladies it’s worth noting that there isn’t mirrors in the bedrooms but there is a big one in the living room that I used for my make up.

Lovely Little House. Just right for a base between York and Hull. Having air conditioning was fantastic on the hottest weekend of the year. Thank you, Catherine for the welcome pack, much appreciated. Enjoyed our weekend especially know what a great place we'd be returning to after a hot busy day in York. It everything we needed added, added it to our wish list of places for the future. Thank you.

We had a lovely couple of days at the house. It’s been renovated to a high standard, we were so impressed by how spacious, clean and modern the place was. Kathryn was great a communicating and very responsive. Thank you!

I had a fantastic stay at this new-build property. Accessing the keys was straightforward, making check-in hassle-free. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, with a modern shower that worked perfectly. The place was spotlessly clean, and each of the three single beds was equipped with two towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The heating was great, ensuring the house stayed cosy throughout my stay. Parking right outside the property was incredibly convenient. Prince, the host, was easily contactable and very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant and seamless experience. Highly recommended!

We found Kate's place to be of a very high standard. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean and tidy. The extras, such as homemade granola, plus milk and yogurt, and a couple of chocolates were much appreciated. The location was very peaceful. I managed to leave my phone charger behind which Kate is posting back to me!

Ann was a very helpful host, and her place was lovely.

Great initial communication with Steven and throughout. he proactively got in touch shortly before the stay and we easily arranged the check-in time as he was going to meet me at the property. I was closer to the end of window I said I'd be, but he was ready and waiting at the property. Had a nice chat about my journey and plans for the weekend, learning a little of Stevens history also, before a quick house tour. The house is easily accessible and I was lucky with the parking, finding a roadside spot directly outside, did appear to be parking up and down the street also. The house was clean and tidy. Very well stocked kitchen though I didn't use any of the tea/coffee/jams though I didn't use any of them. Overall, felt like a comfortable stay, home from home. Only downside was the heat and lack of a fan though in this British weather a fan would likely just push the warm air around the house 🤣

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s Air BnB, the place was as described and pictured. The main house and the lodge were spotlessly clean and well presented. The communication was clear and nothing was too much to ask. There was 10 of us staying and we felt we had plenty of space! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting out in the garden and walking to the village pub. The eye masks being left in each room was a nice touch and were well appreciated by all guests as the windows do not have curtains/blinds. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return ☺️

Absolutely gorgeous property, all the facilities/amenities you could want. Beds are comfy and all the electrical goods are easy to use. Highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Thurnscoe and the surrounding areas. Lovely, green space just opposite with a small park. Short walk into the village. Hosts were really proactive, making sure we had all the instructions to make our stay a smooth and relaxing one.

We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

We just stayed here over the Early May bank holiday, the house was in a beautiful location with a canal right next to it. The scenery was amazing and a lovely quiet area, the home was stunning and we felt right at home. We brought the dog with us, and he loved the stay and the surrounding area it's great for walks! Would definitely come here again. Thankyou for your hospitality 😊 we had a lovely time!

We enjoyed Lewis’ property immensely and felt totally relaxed and right at home from the moment we arrived. Lovely place from which to relax and explore the local towns, villages and countryside. Highly recommended.
