Apartment holiday rentals in Dongdaemun District

We had a great stay at Jaehee's flat. We were pleasantly surprised by the neighbourhood which had everything we needed - easy access to public transport, a grocery store, and a few bars and restaurants. The flat itself is comfortable and well furnished. We particularly liked the eccentric style and decor of the apartment. Very cool. Jaehee was easy to communicate with and responsive. Would highly recommend!

spacious and tidy apartment, clean bathroom with open shower without curtain. The neighborhood is quiet, a 10-minute walk from any metro/bus connection and offers nothing in the immediate vicinity. Personally, if I had to go back, I would choose a livelier neighborhood, such as Hongdae or Insa-dong, but if you prefer tranquility and silence, it is an excellent choice.

The room is clean and well furnished, quite easy to find. The host was also always quick to respond to my questions in advance and was staying.

The room is very clean, so the landlord will respond quickly to the message. It's a little far from the subway station, but it's comfortable overall. I'll check in again later if I get a chance!

Rory's place was a perfect base for exploring Seoul. There are countless restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, public transportation, and more within just steps. The apartment itself was lovely and had several nice touches. I would definitely stay again if visiting Seoul in the future.

It was a much cleaner and more cost-effective accommodation than the photos! It was a clean, cozy, and spacious accommodation.👍👍 It was close to the station, and I was able to move comfortably because they stored my carrier luggage, and the location was really good. We were visting Seoul for the first time, and booked this apartment based on the reviews. It was an excellent choice! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially liked how close to the subway, restaurants and convenience stores it is, and enjoyed the beautiful rooftop deck. My husband and son used the gym a few mornings and were very satisfied. The loft room area has a low ceiling, as described, but my teenage son didn't mind, and enjoyed having his own space. The host was excellent at communicating, and even tried helping us buy tickets to a local event when asked. She also allowed us to store our luggage after check-out when we visited another area, which was a lifesaver. There are several hotels on the same block, and for the space and amenities, I think this apartment is an excellent deal. I would stay here again!

Had a great stay here. Easy to find and well connected to basically anywhere in Seoul. Perfect for one person. Super cozy flat, comfortable bed and everything you need right around the corner. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great customer service. They responded within seconds to any questions we had. The photos are accurate. Seems like a new property. The air conditioning is fantastic. This is the first place where we stayed and the floor was heated. Many restaurants nearby. Several grocery stores by. Two 7-11’s within a 2 minute walk. This property is well worth the stay.

This Airbnb was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk to COEX Mall, with easy access through underground subway exits (no need to cross busy streets). Convenience stores like GS25 and a grocery store are also just steps away. Bongeunsa Station (Line 9) and Samseong Station are nearby, making it easy to explore the rest of Seoul. You’re also within walking distance of cultural spots like the beautiful Bongeunsa Temple and the Royal Tombs (about 10 minutes away). The apartment itself was spotless, with stunning day and night views of the city. We felt completely safe throughout our stay, and the locals were friendly and helpful. The hosts were incredibly kind, allowing us to check in a bit early and responding quickly to all our questions. We had a wonderful experience and would love to stay here again on our next trip to Seoul!

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. The location of the accommodation is very convenient, there is a convenience store downstairs, Olive Young, a pharmacy, and the airport is on the subway, you can take the subway directly. The owner James gave me an early check-in after knowing that I arrived in Korea on a red-eye flight, and replied quickly. The room is large and well-equipped. Highly recommended.

This was a great place for our family to stay during our trip here in Seoul. The location was great - we were able to visit the Han river park frequently as it is literally steps away from Alex and Susan’s place. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and helped us find everything we needed! Highly recommend and we would love to stay here again during our next trip to Seoul!

My wife and I loved staying at Jenny's place in Gangnam. The space felt like our home while we explored Gangnam. The view from the window, massage chair, and comfortable bed were particularly excellent. There is a train station nearby, and the buses are convenient too. Jenny is a very kind and responsive host. Her instructions are clear, and I always felt that I could have messaged her with any questions. Although we just left, my wife and I are already planning a trip for next year and hope to stay at Jenny's Airbnb again. Thank you for hosting us!
