The most popular destinations of our land's artistic and cultural heritage such as Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla are easily accessible. Broadening our horizon, the Donnalucata vacation home is a good starting point for excursions to the beautiful archaeological sites of Syracuse, on the eastern side, and the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, on the western side. Running towards the interior of the island, other easy-to-reach destinations such as Piazza Armerina, with the famous Villa del Casale, or Caltagirone with its artistic ceramics. And then there's the sea, our sea, to be experienced all year round for those who practice windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing or sailing, but also just for walking (the beaches are endless) or for an off-season swim! We want our guests to discover a Sicily of colors, flavors, nature and art. Donnalucata vacation home is a family villa, it is inhabited on the first floor all year round by my sister who lives there with her family and three dogs enjoying the sunsets, the sea and the mild temperatures of our winter. The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The big garden is the natural extension of the house.. hammock, fireplace, tables and spaces among olive and lemon trees, hidden from tourists routes, perfectly inside the village.

Casa Corto Maltese has a shady and private fenced secret garden with 2 ancient caves and a terrace facing the entrance from which you can overlook the entire Scicli. The novel "The Stone Raven" by Marco Steiner was inspired by the rocky walls of this house.

It is about 1 km from the sea. The annex has been built with great attention to detail. It consists of a living area with a fully equipped modern kitchen, a living room, a double bedroom, and a small bedroom with bunk beds.

Retreat into nature with magnificent views

Magical stone hut built in 1818 lovingly converted with local materials into a simple, elegant home. Perched on a mountain ridge with valley vistas on all sides and a magnificent view into the Baroque town of Scicli with the sea beyond. A metal gate two fields away leads you into the land, where our neighbouring farmer grazes his cows and goats amongst the ancient carob grove.

A fantastic location close to the golden sand beach and dunes of enchanting beauty, the sea a few dozen meters away creates the soundtrack of a pleasant holiday in the name of complete relaxation. 10 kilometers away is Scicli, a beautiful late Baroque town that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a film set for many films including Inspector Montalbano.
