Cabin holiday rentals in Donner Lake

Great location in Tahoe - less than 10 min drive to the lake. Very close to supermarket. House was very comfortable. Bedrooms first floor. Open living space at the top with deck and 1/2 bath. House was fully equipped - including kitchen supplies, spices/cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathroom toiletries. Beds were comfortable.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

The house was amazing! Very spacious and clean. We had a lot of fun in the hot tub and playing pool and poker with the provided tables. Definitely one of the best AirBNBs I have stayed at. Thanks!

If you are looking for a retreat this is the place. The waterfront backyard makes leaving difficult. Love the place and can't wait to return.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and the host. We were so sad to leave! I adore A- frames and this one had all the charm. The property had an amazing view of the Lake and the hot tub made the view even better. I would absolutely return! I also cannot speak highly enough of the host, she was so kind and gave detailed recommendations which we utilized and enjoyed!

This cabin is fabulous! It had all the comforts of home (like throw blankets, extra pillows, kitchen with everything cooking item you can think of). The location was perfect. You can walk just a few minutes to get to the lakefront, and so many close by conveniences like grocery store and lots of restaurants. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was quaint, cozy and brought us back to childhood memories. We enjoyed burning the wood stove in the evenings and watching VHS movies- such a fun touch! We felt super close to Truckee- only 15 mins down the highway, and what a beautiful drive. We ultimately loved our stay and are grateful for these new memories! We will definitely be back!

Great location and space! This was a trip for me and my husband and this was a great choice for the two of us. The space was beautiful and the location was great. We walked to restaurants and shops, it was a perfect combination of enough things nearby without being swamped with tourists. Neighbors were friendly and host was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. This wonderful little cabin was a great place to spend a getaway weekend with my son. The peaceful, wooded surroundings provided the relaxing backdrop I was looking for and my son was delighted with the wood burning stove. He discovered that the pine cones that were suggested as fire starters did a great job and he had a great time replenishing their supply from the woods around the cabin.

We really enjoyed the amenities, and extra fans since it did get warm upstairs. My grandkids loved and asked to return to the same house next year!! It was super clean and comfortable! We made great memories 💙

Beautiful surroundings - wildlife all around the cabin and very peaceful. A short walk to the lake and a regional park. Cabin was kitted out with a full kitchen and all the amenities.

We had a great stay! Amazing location, so close to the beach and many restaurants and shops! Super cute and cozy little Airbnb! Host was great at responding to my questions. Dog friendly too which was great for our family! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was in a great location, close to town and beautiful trails, making it very convenient for our stay. Brett was very responsive and helpful, and we really appreciated that someone came to shovel the snow for us when it was coming down heavily. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this stay!

We had a great time in Donner! The cabin was cozy and had spectacular views of the lake. Great location as well! The kids and adults were all very happy.

The place was great and even better than the photos. The beds were super comfy, the fireplace kept everything was very cozy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. I would happily stay here again anytime!

We have stayed in Tahoe Donner many times over the years but this was the first time at this house. The experience was great from start to finish. Hamish and Kim were super clear about what to expect, the house was so clean, perfectly furnished for relaxing and sleeping and it had everything needed for a couple of nice meals in. We needed to connect with Hamish and Kim a few times and they were always SUPER responsive and helpful - which is always so nice on weekends like this. We will for sure look to stay here again.

Perfectly furnished and stocked for a short snow getaway with the fam. Very clean and organized. Convenient location to sugarbowl or Tahoe donner. Easy to communicate.

The A-frame was cozy, had a great view, and was stocked with amenities. Beds were super comfortable and the salt water hot tub was awesome, not chemically at all.

We enjoyed the cute A-frame! The neighborhood was quiet and tranquil, and a stone’s throw from the water. The house was super clean and well furnished. We’d stay here again!
