We enjoyed hiking into the Flysch from the front door or going to the train station to explore the towns and beaches. An absolute must is to visit the church in Deba. 2 km in front of the property there was a kiosk bar with four barrel beers and wine, our end of every evening overlooking the sea. PS: The altitude meters in the flysch on the steep coast should not be underestimated.

A peaceful oasis after a long journey! Marie-Claire and Mariette deserve the title of Super Hosts. They show a lot of empathy. They ensure the comfort of the person they welcome and know how to make themselves available. A relationship of trust is quickly established. The residence is very quiet. You sleep like you're in the countryside where I'm from. The train station is not far away and the city center is also for those who like to take a short walk. Marie Claire and Mariette offer breakfast, which makes the nightly rate really attractive. I only see positive things to say about this accommodation. The room is comfortable and close to the Chemin de Saint Jacques (the Nive - Bidassoa Way) on which we were hiking. We used the kitchen to prepare our dinner and were welcomed by Waqas with whom we enjoyed talking.
