Holiday rentals with breakfast in Dorchester, Boston

We had a wonderful stay at this location! The space was exactly as advertised, very clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Wendy was a responsive and communicative host, as well as being very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Salem!

The house was very clean and organized. Additional seating in the living room would be nice and kings beds instead of queen size beds would be better. They left snacks and bottle water for us to have which was appreciated, but we found open gallons of beverages and open food packages in the refrigerator. We also questioned the sign in the kitchen stating no cooking allowed. Honestly, that’s why we stay at Airbnb’s Overall, our stay was comfortable.

Out weekend in Wellesley was a treat, from our check-in to departure, our host was engaging, communicative and a wealth of information about her abundant garden. Unforturnately, the weather did not cooperate, so we were not able to enjoy the outdoor space, but we are looking forward to a future visit. -K

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience!

From the moment we stepped into this wonderful house in Charlestown we felt instantly at home. Every inch of the home is beautiful and the house is on the historic registry. Megan and Victor were amazing hosts, responding immediately to any question we had. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel to Charlestown. (Hopefully it will be available! 🤞)

Let me start with this: THESE HOSTS MAKE THEIR OWN MAPLE SYRUP. As if that weren’t enough, they were warm and welcoming, making me comfortable in their home from moment one. The space was cozy and exactly what I needed—and walking distance from beautiful wooded conservation land. And Deborah’s breakfast—and conversation—were truly a delicious, sweet, and savory way to start the day. I hope to be back!

Carol is a gracious host with a wonderful guest suite. She maintains a tranquil retreat that is surprisingly close to everything. Great for business or leisure travelers alike. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and felt like home. My bedroom looked out over an enormous formal garden and the bay, with an easy walk to the "T". This will be my go-to place in Boston.

Apartment was clean, comfortable and priced well. It was the perfect size for family of three. Loved the outdoor space and great location. Marblehead is stunning. Host is excellent

Maria’s place was an adorable stay for our honeymoon ! House was very homey and super comfortable. Maria was by far an amazing host, super communicative, and always made sure we were set! Would recommend!!!!

I can't say enough about this beautiful apartment. The hostess met us upon our arrival and showed us where everything was located. She left fresh fruit, eggs, butter, bread, drinks, and coffee available. The place was clean and quiet. The best thing is that it is close to the ocean and Boston, as well as Salem, but without the crowds. The apartment itself is adorable and perfect for a romantic getaway—an outstanding value with a very responsive host/hostess. I can't wait to return!

I used to live in the Boston area, and know what neighborhoods work well when I come back to visit. Watertown is one of them, with the 71 bus to Harvard Square, express bus to downtown Boston, and very nice surroundings reachable by bicycle (Blue Bikes) : Watertown, Belmont, Newton etc. --- so Patrick's location is great. The BnB itself works seamlessly, with Patrick upstairs and two other guests on the ground floor with me. A cleaner comes to tidy. All is provided. Patrick is always reachable. Arrival is easy with a code. Overall, exactly like a B and B is expected to work. Patrick also has full apartment available on the top floor that I would love to use when coming with others.

Everything was perfect, I am recommend this apartments as a choice for your vacation near Boston.

Zahar was a lovely host who never hesitated to answer any questions when we reached out. Her place was beautiful decorated with so much attention to detail. Great place to stay in Salem very on theme.

Thomas is a great host. He lives in the house, however he is very quiet. You almost wouldn't know he lived there if he did tell you. This was the second time I stayed here. The first time was a few years back. Thomas had improved the stairs since then. I was pleased to see that he had, as I had mentioned this to him the last time. That was my only complaint then, and now I have no complaints. The house was built around 1905, the interior was redone as some point and electricity has been added (so no worries there ;) ). My room was on the second floor. The stairs like all of the house were wood. The stairs creak when you climb them. It's not a complaint, but it wouldn't hard/expensive to make that stop. He has fresh flowers in every room which is a nice touch. I didn't realize it when I booked the place, but it came with breakfast; Select cereals, organic milk, oats, toasts and bananas. Donnell is very responsive and accommodating. Comfortable lodging. Would recommend, he went above and beyond for us in our stay :)

Connie was uncommonly hospitable, friendly, and helpful. I was set to arrive before the usual check-in time, and she allowed me to arrive early. She helped me carry my heavy bag upstairs and downstairs. She has breakfast items (yogurt, granola, milk, cereal, coffee) available. The room was charming and clean, as was the bathroom. The A/C works very well. I really enjoyed my stay and just chatting with Connie. The location is really great -- walking distance to Harvard and Porter squares and pretty close to the Porter T. I highly recommend her place!

We are very grateful for our stay at Peter's. The apartment was very cozy, we appreciated the easy communication with the hosts and would recommend the stay to anyone looking for a place from where to venture into the city (especially helpful were Peter's tips for Little Italy) and then return for a quiet place in a nice neighbourhood.

Melissa was helpful and proactive. The rocking boat helped put me to sleep!

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

Christie’s house was a good place to stay whilst visiting Boston. It was a 15 min ride to South station, and about a 7-8min walk to the station. Our room was small but we did have half a bathroom. The kitchen was right outside the room. Christie was a great host and provided everything we needed. Side note… you are staying in her home in one of her bedrooms and she does have a young child. Our stay was great and we were very happy.

Sad to be leaving. First morning I was awoken by the sounds of birds chitchatting and a warm inviting glow peeking through the windows. Open the French door and listen to the gentle rustling of leaves, the cool breeze flowing in. I could do this for longer. But it’s time to go back to reality. Thank you Joan for hosting.
