Lake house holiday rentals in Douglasville

We could not have picked a better place to stay and celebrate my birthday weekend!!! The lake house was so much fun and located in a beautiful quiet area of Jackson Lake. Denise is absolutely amazing and one of the top hosts I have communicated with! She went out of her way to ensure our weekend was special, and even allowed us to extend our check out time to provide the opportunity to enjoy the nice weather that peaked on a rainy weekend. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for all!!

My stay on Jackson Lake went above and beyond my expectations. My family and I enjoyed kayaking and playing family games on the covered back porch. The location is perfect for me because I'm local and live only about 20 min away. The kitchen and living area are spacious and open while giving the at home cozy feel. My advice is to book it!!! Enjoy leisure on the lake.

Gary’s lakehouse was just what we were looking for. Spent quality family time fishing, kayaking and grilling on the deck. The giant game room for the kids was amazing fun. And the dock and deck music via AirPlay was phenomenal. We can’t wait to get back

10/10 would go back. We had a great time. So sweet to leave a present when we got there. Plenty of things to do around the place. Beautiful area, wild life, and so close to the lake. We had such a blast and we're even able to do laundry before we left. They had EVERYTHING we needed. Loved the fire pit and the dock on the lake. We will for sure be back. Beautiful house. Amazing location. The dock is perfect with the shade of the gazebo. They have too many amenities to list. It was the perfect place to stay. I would definitely come back!!

Canary Cottage was absolutely beautiful! Everything was better than described. The location is remote but if you need something, it is easy to get out to get it. The cottage is stunning inside and outside. The cottage is well maintained and pristine from the front door through the kitchen, bedrooms and out to the dock. The neighbors are friendly. The view is breathtaking. Can’t say enough about this place!!!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb on Jackson Lake! The place was spotless, with a beautiful view and everything exactly as described. The dock and backyard were absolutely perfect—we spent nearly every day floating in the lake and soaking it all in. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful property, just as described in a quiet safe neighborhood. Close to restaurants and stores. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a baseball tournament at Lake point. We were looking for something reasonably priced and not too far away. This was 35 minutes from the ballpark. If you are looking for peace and serenity with a country setting , this is it. The house sat on 55 acres at the top of the hill. It had two small fishing ponds on the property that the boys really enjoyed. Melissa was nice enough to have her son Micah loan us a few fishing poles from the barn on site. We were able to find bait at Walmart. We had nine people (4 families) staying here and there was plenty of room. The boys loved hanging out in the theater room and playing their Xbox and PlayStation that they brought with them. The parents relaxed away from the kids in the large family room. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen. We had days that we all had to shower and never ran out of hot water. The beds were amazing. There are plenty of restaurants,Kroger, Walmart 10 min away. We will be back!!!

we had a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful weekend and enjoyed some fishing off the docks as well, my son caught his first large mouth bass which was an amazing memory for the records.

We traveled to Lake Lanier Islands for a conference at the resort. Jays place was so close to the resort! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The downstairs is like an apartment in itself. The Main living floor has a huge beautiful kitchen and the upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths(one being the master). We enjoyed playing pool and hanging out on the back deck.

Galit’s listing was as described; peaceful neighborhood; clean and enough space for our family of 14. I would definitely recommend this house for large family’s.

This home was exactly as described. Clean and cozy. The floor plan was perfect for meeting up with my son and his family. We were able to have a wonderful family bbq. The only thing I would suggest is putting a small tv in the bunk bed room for the small humans so the adults could congregate in the main living space (our 5 year old hogged the tv in the main space 🤣) Our beds/mattresses were way more comfortable than most hotels. We’ve now turned my son and daughter in law on to using Airbnb as well. Regina was wonderful!! Can say enough good about her attentiveness!!!!

We had a great stay.

My family enjoyed a small reunion at the house. There was 10 of us. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have their own private space but cozy, comfortable gathering spaces when everyone came together. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow and we had a smooth process throughout our stay. My family loved the main house as well as the guest house. The home was just as beautiful as the pictures and very clean. We loved the separate coffee/tea area. The kitchen had all the amenities for me to cook my family multiple meals while we were there. Kevin was very responsive and helpful when I had questions. Overall, we loved the space and will be staying here in the future.

We really enjoyed this nice cozy home right on the water. The back porch is so nice to sit on and just watch the geese and their babies. The neighborhood was really quiet. I highly recommend if you’re in the area!

My stay at the lake house was amazing. Carmen and Merel were very friendly and helpful and made sure to check to make sure we were settling in ok. We had a long stay so my host aways kept in touch with me. The house was beautifully decorated and stocked, and matched the pictures and description. What I didn’t expect was the breathtaking views of the lake throughout the home. It was so nice and serene. Me and my family enjoyed relaxing and playing board games. The entertainment didn’t stop there. We also enjoyed Kayak racing. And we even were able to fish and caught blue gill, catfish, big mouth bass, and carp which was great. Overall we are happy we found this place, And I would highly recommend booking cottage A lake house or another property with Carmen. We thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

The place is a lovely home to spend time with your family and enjoy the lake. The hosts are extremely responsive! We had a wifi issue and it was fixed very quickly and with a great and helpful attititud. They could not have been better hosts and the house is perefect for some lake days with your family on a beautiful dock with great views.
