Holiday rentals with lake access in Douro-Dummer

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Would 100% recommend this cozy cottage and we are already keen to return next year! Shannon was very responsive and addressed our questions clearly and in a friendly manner. The cottage was beyond our expectations with respect to cleanliness and tidiness! We also enjoyed the use of the fire bowl and two single kayaks around the beautiful lake.

One of the most incredible stays I’ve ever experienced in Ontario. This cottage is even better in person; beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and absolutely stunning and serene surroundings. Retreat 82 has all the amenities you could ask for and more, and our dog loved every minute of our stay too. We can’t wait to come back!

Really lovely spot for a getaway outside of Toronto - the house was spacious, and had lots of fun activities like a kayak, firepit, shuffleboard, and pingpong. The views were beautiful and we had a lot of fun for a couple nights here. Renee and Marco were great hosts - super friendly and responsive.

Tracey and Rodney were great hosts. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the gallery inside and the river views. The photos and description are accurate. It was great to re-explore Campbellford.

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Zoka's place felt like a dream. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it the perfect escape from the demands of adult life-a space where you could simply be, fall in love, and feel alive. It was private, cozy, and filled with charm. And Zoka herself was a truly wonderful person to meet—warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Pam was terrific from the start - she was very responsive and helpful in all of our communication leading up to our stay. She was there to let us in and give us a tour of the space, but then she disappeared and left us to get settled in. The house has some great history and it is a 3 minute walk to the Main Street of a lovely village that is a great central location from which to explore the whole area. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped. There is a small sitting area that is fine for beginning and end of the day (no TV - which at first was a bit of a surprise, but we actually enjoyed not having that as a default to entertaining ourselves). Pam is an artist (very good) and a lot of her work is displayed in the space which enhances the area. An excellent value, comfortable space, lovely host.

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Mary Anne and Garry were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are truly wonderful people in general- friendly, warm and welcoming. Their AirBnB exceeded expectations! It was pristinely clean and also had little details and amenities that added to the comfort of our stay (like Kleenex boxes in every room, ice was ready-made in the freezer, coffee and tea, etc). It really did have the comforts of home, which is rare these days! The Breakfasts they made were lovely and delicious. Mary Anne and Garry put so much thought into everything and that made a big difference to our stay. We look forward to returning to stay again! Thank you for making us feel at home.

Returning stay. Cannot say enough about the view, the sunsets are just amazing. Comfortable bed, spacious living area. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at David’s studio very much. Unfortunately the weather had been quite bad so we didn’t get to sit out in the backyard to enjoy the sunshine.

It was not our first stay at Serenity Suite, and hopefully not our last. Danny & Annette were very responsive and co-hosts Lisa &Miguel were super friendly, flexible and helpful. The space is a great retreat, just as shown in the listing. Super convenient location in South Whitby, perfect for a tranquil couples getaway.

Jessica was very friendly and responsive. It was wonderful to be in such a gorgeous location at Stoney Lake, for the best of September’s weather. I got out in a canoe or kayak almost every day!

The place is beautiful! Even better than the pictures. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view is gorgeous. Lots of privacy for a quiet getaway. The place is very clean and Jess is a great host. She’s very friendly and responsive and also gives you privacy which we really appreciated. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the host has even thought about the small things! We loved this place and I would definitely recommend it!! We would love to visit again! :)

refreshing and relaxing just what we needed. no major issues! hot tub was a big highlight

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aubrae and Peter’s beautiful waterfront property. The location is quiet and serene, and the home itself is spectacular and very well equipped with anything you could possibly require for your time there. Communication was excellent, and any questions we had were quickly and cheerfully answered. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and hope to return for another visit ourselves!

We spent 4 peaceful days at this cozy cottage and absolutely loved it. The space was clean, quiet, and filled with charm. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views, waking up to nature each morning felt like a true escape. It was the perfect spot to rest, recharge, and slow down.
