Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Douro

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would like to have noticed by the description that the outside area is far from the house.

Such a lovely experience. Marissa was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the countless recommendations such as the local bakery (San Miguel was our favorite), and the 516 Suspension Bridge. The AirBnb was cozy and so lovely that we really felt at ease and comfortable. We will definitely keep it on the list for future travel!

We were with family and the stay was warm and peaceful. I recommend the location, the house is wonderful and the neighbors are very friendly. It is important, however, to inform that it is necessary to have a vehicle and clarify more clearly that access to them can be challenging , depending on which one it is. The entrance to the house is complicated, because for those who arrive at night is not illuminated and access to the self check in vault is not accessible to outsiders. One of the rooms is more difficult to access, ideal for younger people, but not for visitors with more limitations. Despite the recommendations for improvement, we emphasize the tranquility, the incredible landscape, and the comfort of the house, which is thought in detail. Let's go back! Thank you

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

I was very well received by Marta, who showed me the house and left food for my first breakfast, including homemade jam and fruit from the orchard. The location of Casa da Eira is fantastic, with beautiful views of the Douro river bay, a large patio with the same view and right next to the pool. The infinity pool is stunning with a view of the river and is large. The entire property is very well cared for, with gardens and fruit tree plantations; the size of the property provides walking paths and nooks to rest without leaving the premises. The house itself has all the amenities and is very comfortable, with a covered balcony that gives you the feeling of being in a tree house. Marta's kindness (who even offered me plums from the farm's production), the location and amenities, make this accommodation an ideal retreat for true rest, whether you go alone or with your family. I'll be back.

We had wonderful days. Interior of the spaces are a bit dated, but everything is clean. Pool and views really beautiful. The pool is shared with Farmhouse 2 but is fine to do. In the house also more than enough space, large kitchen. Communication with Hugo was fast and easy.

Really great beatiful quiet place in the middle of the mountains. Fully recommend!

The house do Bobal has exceeded our expectations, although in the photos it is already seen that it is very complete, being there it is even more beautiful and very cozy, I know that it was decorated by a family and not only for guests, we felt right at home, the beds are comfortable, the house was super clean, the back patio is great, we have enjoyed the hammock and also the game of darts, in the house there are more options of board games to play in front of the fireplace if it is cold as in our case... we were able to bring our chihuahua and we had a lot of privacy, the village is also very nice and there are several paths and things to visit in the area. Luis is very friendly and has had details with us such as asking the baker to leave the fresh bread at the door in the morning! super recommended! We're already looking forward to coming back :)

I've stayed in many places around the world, but Conceição has been the best host to date, very friendly and helpful. The house is very well taken care of, and we feel totally welcome.

We were very happy to stay at Fred's apartment. It's very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We went out to eat nearby the first day and the next day we went to the center of Porto by Uber. It's about 10 minutes away and it's cheap to get there. Fred is a very kind and pleasant person and we really enjoyed his hospitality. We highly recommend staying with Fred

We really enjoyed staying in Sousas apartment. Nice and clean. Big bedroom and bathroom with a super nice shower. Everything was new and the elevator right into the apartment was a nice feature. We liked the neighbourhood with supercool restaurants close by and most sights in easy walking distance. Thank you for hosting us.

Everything about Quinta da Boavista is just 10/10 perfect! It's quite and peacfull but still, very accesable. Ella and Maria are so proactive and helpful, and allways with a smile and good vibe. The houses, pool and, well.. the whole property are all very well planned and executed. We will defenitely come back here. Highly recomended! Thank you for everything

A true Gem in Porto! Staying at Sonia’s villa in Porto was hands down one of the biggest highlights of my entire trip to Portugal. While I enjoyed many places across the country, Porto truly stood out – and a big part of that was because of this incredible stay. Honestly, I found Porto to be even more charming and enjoyable than Lisbon – cleaner, cozier, and far more relaxed. The villa itself felt like a true home away from home – spotless, thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed even a nice pool, a beautiful view on sunrises and sets and incredibly comfortable. You can tell Sonia genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. Sonia was an exceptional host – always available, super friendly, and incredibly fast with her responses. She gave me fantastic recommendations that made exploring the city even more memorable. I’m already planning to return to Porto, and without a doubt, I’ll be booking with Sonia again. If you’re visiting Porto, this is the place to stay – no question

Quiet place. Great for getting out of the city and distracting your mind. I slept very well, no noise. Whirlpool works well. Only microwave and barbecue so I took my portable electric oven to cook.

Very hospitable and close hosts. They facilitated the stay as much as possible and very attentive if we needed anything.

We are very very thankful to Helena and Luis. They are very sweet, helpful and amazingly kind. We felt right at home in this absolute stunning place. It is a bit difficult to find, but Helena was a great help. We LOVED it and enjoyed it to the max! We will be back for sure!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. I loved my stay! Check-in was very flexible and extremely easy. Very good organization so we could be more relaxed about the check-in time. The house is amazing, I easily felt that I loved living there. The place is super quiet and peaceful and allows you to relax and enjoy the rest. D. Maria Luísa was very, very dear. She promptly sent all instructions and always answered all questions. She always had a word of appreciation in every message. Definitely a place I recommend!

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

the house is private with amazing views, miguel and his cousin were both very friendly and even offered a late checkout. even with cloudy weather the pool stayed warm enough to enjoy.
