A really nice getaway place, whether for a few days or a longer break. The Annex was very cosy, clean and well equipped which made it really easy to settle in. Beautiful views from the bedrooms and a cosy TV room to settle in for the evenings. Very easy car access and ample space for parking right in front that was easy to reverse into. Paula was extremely responsive with her messages, provided clear instruction for finding the place and checking in and also very kindly accommodated our request for a slightly later checkout, which was really helpful! The location is on the outskirts of Chapel, so no noisy traffic, yet within easy access to shops and eating places as well as the many walking trails. All in all, a lovely place to spend relaxing time at and we’ll certainly consider this again in the future!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed in The Nook - I love it! So homely and relaxing, utterly tranquil and in a prime location for exploring the heart of the Peak District (a number of great walks from the doorstep). Tracy is a great host, the place is spotless and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. Cute rear garden with summer house, sit and watch the sunset over the hills while the sheep potter about in the field. Bliss.

we have stayed in Davud place over Easter weekend 3 of us and a dog . We had lovely time hiking and exploring the area. Cottage was cosy with open fire which was a bonus. Beds really comfortable with clean and fresh linen. Kitchen very functional , we have made a most of it and tried the leg of lamb roast dinner and it was perfect. Lovely small sunny garden, just right for a chill and morning doggy business. David was helpful as I had some question with the parking. Overall highly recommended.

Lee and her partner were so friendly and helpful, she suggested places given the weather which we greatly appreciated & meant we saw more in the area than initially planned. Their place is so cosy and homely, it has everything you need for time in the Peak District and I would return again as its a great base for exploring the area further and place to relax after an adventure. Thank you!
