Apartment holiday rentals in Downtown, Durham

Restful, spa-like apartment! I traveled to Durham for a friend’s bridal shower and wanted to stay near Duke’s campus since the shower was being held in the area. I also knew I’d need accommodations with good WiFi and a comfortable workspace for an all day Zoom meeting the day after the shower. Reid’s apartment was beyond perfect. The monitor with web cam came in super handy for my all day Zoom and worked flawlessly with my laptop. The mini fridge kept my food and drinks ice cold. Several very popular breakfast spots are a short few minutes drive, and there are lots of fast food, casual, and more elegant dining options within a 15 minute drive. Though it’s on a well-traveled road, the apartment is well insulated and I couldn’t hear ANY road noise. There was a huge thunderstorm a couple nights and it was hard to tell it was raining except for the lightning. The listing is exactly as pictured and described. It’s spacious, so welcoming, and incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend!

Kelly is a phenomenal host and extremely responsive! This is a wonderful, quiet, private place to stay that is accessible to so much of what Durham has to offer!

Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

The unit was very clean. Cute house in quiet area. We had confortable stay. I would want to stay again.

My daughter and I stayed here while in town touring Duke. We felt safe in the area and had no problems accessing the property. We arrived in the middle of the night and felt comfortable getting in despite it being after dark. I have experienced otherwise in other places and always value safety. The host gave clear check in/out instructions, and was helpful navigating us to a local Fedex store after leaving our itinerary at the airport. I would totally stay here again.

we had an excellent day at Isaiah‘s place. It is well set up for two people. exceptionally clean. Isaiah is an extraordinary communicator: responsive and helpful. Comfortable inflatable bed if two guests choose not to share the bed. generally, you will need to drive to restaurants or shopping. we were delighted to find Duke Pond about half a mile away. It was great for walks.! This B&B will be our go-to place for future stays in Durham.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was extremely clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were seamless, despite concerns in other reviews, and everything went smoothly. The Barsala team was incredibly responsive and communicative, making sure all my questions were answered promptly. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in Durham.

My brother and I stayed with Kristan for two days as I as moving out of Durham for a new job. The place is big, clean, well equipped and in a good , safe and quite area of town, while still beeing close to the good resturants and watering holes on 9th street. We had a great last two days here, allowing me a nice farwell to Durham, would certainly stay here again if I come back for a visit!

Ana Maria's place was perfect for us! We were there for the weekend and ate out, but Ana Maria's kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. The king bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is updated, and the living area is perfect for relaxing. We loved the wooden venetian blinds throughout the unit. We highly recommend Ana Maria's place to the AIrbnb community.

Spacious duplex unit near downtown with a nice kitchen and huge island, and a side deck for relaxing—-I highly recommend this one.

Lovely room, gorgeous neighborhood and convenient parking. Building also serves as student housing, so a bit noisy overnight, but not unexpected.

I had an amazing time here with my partner. The suite was clean and really made you feel like you’re in a home away from home. The hot tub and pool were our favorite aspect of the accommodation. Angela is a super thoughtful, amicable, and informative host.

Amy was a great host. She was easy to reach and the check-in/check-out guidance was clear. The room was perfect for a few nights @Chapel Hill.

Relocating to Durham with a young family, Anne's unit was the perfect 🥰 place to transition from the Northeast. What a true blessing, Anne provided toys for my young children, opened up soccer ⚽️ time when the field was available, and the bonus was a three minute walk to the local park! I couldn't think of a better family to connect with than Anne's family. We love the thoughtfulness of the unit, plug in USB outlet tables, working desk area for professional, large closet, and the awesome espresso machine 👍. I enjoyed staying here in Raleigh. The August door app wasn't working at first to unlock the door, but when I called the number for the host, they were able to let me in with a lock box physical key. The space was large, and the host communicated often to check-in and provide local recommendations. There were some issues with the Wi-Fi (it didn't work when we tried to connect with our phones and it didn't work on the smart TV). I think if I had reached out to the host they would have been able to fix it, but it wasn't working when I tried a few different times. I wasn't there long enough to reach out about it, but it may be something to check in the future to ensure it is working and the tv is hooked up to it.

Great space, nice yard, pool is great. Not high-end but everything worked great. Excellent value. Would definitely return.
