Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Drexel Heights

First of all, we were unsure about whether to stay here because of the internet comments from other reviewers. Second, day one, we learned that these comments were completely unwarranted or at least outdated. From start to finish, we were taken care of by Jen and had a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. Sometimes, we just hung in the hammock after cooking and watched the yard and road. If you’re like me and have fifteen tabs open to fifteen different places, do yourself a favor and just book this spot. It’s the best one we found and stands so much higher than the rest. This may have been my best Airbnb experience.

We had a fabulous stay at Michael’s house in Tucson. We loved the mid century one level feel. The house is easy to find and Michael’s communication and instruction was impeccable. We had no issues with accessing the property. The house had everything we were looking for on this trip. Good value, proximity to UA, a private pool and backyard, and a comfy bed. The back yard is wonderful. We appreciated all of the little touches. Yoga mats and pool towels, fresh ground coffee provided, filtered water from the fridge, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and a/c for those hot Tucson days. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked for friends that needed to move out of the house temporarily while getting work done. It was so easy working with Stacey and Derek. Responded quickly and flexible to our needs. Very fun decor and was filled with a lot of great games! I definitely will recommend to friends and family coming into town. AND it is literally 5 minutes from my house.

This house was beyond our expectations. With the fair price and the wide space available with amenities such as a clean pool, our stay was pleasant. Loved the bedrooms and would rent again!

Extremely easy to deal with and very nice space to experience. Very much appreciated all the amenities and convenience. Parking was super easy and allowed for a lot of issues in town having with other ones. Will definitely use again if I’m back in the area.

This was my first time being the one to book and everything was so easy! The location was a nice area with a beautiful home to stay in. We were very comfortable and our hosts were very responsive.

Great please to stay if you have a big family and need privacy. The shared pool is clean and perfect for the kids.

We absolutely loved this airbnb. The space is perfectly laid out with everything you need. Ross really did think of everything. We also had a lovely chat with Ross and he was nice enough to let us check out an hour late so we could get in a final hike before leaving.

We were new to Airbnb. Luis was fantastic to explain and provided clear directions. Super helpful and understanding. He went above and beyond making the stay feel more personal and not just a business. It was the UofA for sure if thats what you are looking for. His immediate response was much appreciated. His flexibility was above board as we had to make some adjustments with dates and times. He was kind and made it worry free. Thank you Luis !!

Natalia’s condo is absolutely beautiful! Pictures match the listing. I came here on vacation with my dad and the place was perfect for the two of us. Great location near national parks, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Plus mountain views. I did see a javelina walk through the backyard one morning and a roadrunner in the parking lot. Natalia was fantastic with information about the condo.

I had a great stay at Aurora's Airbnb! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the space was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night—it made for restful sleep. A big plus was having a washer and dryer available, which added to the convenience. The location was perfect and close to where I needed to be for my business meetings. The towels were super soft, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. My only suggestion would be adding a bath mat for the bathtub for comfort and safety. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at the Jacobson house. It was worth it. Everything we could ask for was provided and it did not disappoint.

Loved our little staycation at Jenna’s place with our friends. Great space for multiple couples/families/kids. Place was clean, host was very kind and responsive. We would stay again!

All the amenities the house had were amazing and perfect for our family. We had plenty to do right at home without having to leave the house to entertain our teen daughters. Which allowed mom and dad to relax. I loved that the house is managed by Alex and Jill. Not a property manager which takes away from a true airbnb experience. Alex and Jill were welcoming and they both communicated promptly since the minute we booked! I so appreciated that. Alex and Jill have been the best hosts I have come across! They also make there home easy to checkout. We didn’t have a million rules nor did they leave us a list of chores to do before we could check out. So we were able to truly enjoy all of our time while we were there. Thank you both for everything.

Pulchra Arizona Solis was exactly what we hoped it would be. The house was clean and comfortable and the spaces were perfect. We were 2 couples, plus our teenage sons. The other couple was able to have their own space in the casita and our 2 boys each had a bedroom and shared a bath on the lower level. Everyone was able to have space to themselves but still enjoy the common areas. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics, living room was roomy. The pool and spa were clean and the view from the pool area was just beautiful. The driveway is really steep but we didn't mind. They give VERY detailed, clear instructions for navigating (don't skip the tutorial!). There's also plenty of space to park at the top if you choose not to drive down. I even used the steps on the driveway to get a workout in a few mornings :) Melanie was a fantastic host. She responded super fast to any and all questions/requests. We'd rent it again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location, spacious house with a wonderful Arizona feel. The yard is an interesting cactus brush with wildlife (we saw peccaries and scorpions, which we looked for). The yard is not really walkable due to cacti but the house is minutes from Grants Pass which is beautiful with a few good hikes and a not much further from Saguaro National Park which is also a favorite. We didn’t spend much time in Tucson but overall this is a great spot to either venture in the city or spend a few days hiking in the desert. The patio has great views of Tucson and surrounding mountains. House overall has good appliances with coffee provided, the A/C worked great which is important some seasons!

We loved our stay. The house is well equipped, spacious and all is fitted and finished to a very high quality. We particularly loved the beautiful garden, where there is a variety of different places to sit and enjoy nature. It was perfect for having barbecues. Although there were no children in our party, there was loads for kids to enjoy. Jenna is a great host and communicated very well.

A great place to stay in a lovely neighborhood that was close to several hiking areas, art galleries, and restaurants. Beautiful views. I enjoyed the outdoor area. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Super comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again.

The historic house of the architect and artist Charles Bolsius is nothing less than spectacular. Every corner, every single detail is art! It has an extensive library and a grand piano you can play! (Too many places lock it or tell you not to touch it.) The host was quick to respond and gracious. I genuinely haven't seen such a clean Airbnb before. It was like staying in the museum and being allowed to experience the artist's life and, later, the life and tastes of the extraordinary family that purchased and renovated the house. I don't want to spoil it—read it yourself on Wikipedia and other places on the Internet, or even better, book it and then discover this gem through your own experience!
