Holiday houses in Dugi Rat

Marin and his family are the perfect hosts. We enjoyed the terrace to apartment, often spending our evenings looking out over the Adriatic enjoying local food. Vines and fruit trees grow along the three tiered terrace. There is external shower which is super cooling after returning from the beach, just a short walk away and beautiful. A truly glorious location to enjoy all the delights of beach life as well as the local history of neighboring Omis.

We had a great time in this apartment. From the very beginning, we were delighted with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the property. Very nice neighborhood! Wonderful water. Near Split and Omis. Super wild beaches in the area. Overall, we can honestly recommend! We'd love to go back :)

We were greeted very kindly by Hrvoje and His Mother-in-law, and they accompanied us throughout the stay, although they only spoke Croatian it was possible to get along. Very friendly and family atmosphere, Ana served us with figs straight from the tree, and our kids got a variety of sweets. The air conditioning cooled the apartment beautifully, the kitchen equipped with dishes and appliances according to the description, you could prepare some food. The only downside was to get to the apartment, because we had to climb 49 steps up to get to it 🤣 Parking was slightly shaded right next to the house. We walked to the beach a few minutes, passed several markets and a nice playground for kids (3.6.8 years), we managed to navigate this route several times during the day with a stroller to carry beach junk, on the last straight there was a comfortable downhill or a few stairs. There were a few children's toys and a major attraction in the backyard garden - 3 turtles that fed the watermelon. We highly recommend 🥰

Great place great location great host, we had a great time

It was great, the location is excellent, fully equipped, beach items even mosquito machines... The local market in Omis is exactly what fresh fish and vegetables from the garden, everything tastes and especially prepared on the grill, much tastier and much cheaper than at the restaurant. Olive oil, purchased from the host, is special, I highly recommend, it goes great with the fresh bread from the bakery in Omis ;) A pleasant surprise was the nut brandy we were greeted with, a unique taste among the best we tasted. The communication with the host was great, thanks Maria! As advice for boat trips you don't need to waste your time looking, you need to talk directly to the host. The only inconvenience would be the national road that for some people can create a little noise discomfort, in our case everything was ok, we were equipped with sleeping plugs although we gave them up from the second evening.

This tiny home was everything I was looking for- peace, quite and a complete connection wit nature. The house is surrounded by pine trees, providing perfect shade and a relaxing atmosphere and the outdoor kitchen under the pines added to the whole experience. I especially enjoyed the hammocks and the spectacular view of the sea and mountain. This is the ideal spot for anyone looking to escape the crowds, yet still be close to everything they need especially to beautiful beaches. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat i nature.
