Beach house holiday rentals in Dunfanaghy

Annual staycation with the doggos which calls for dog friendly accomodation. The house was in a great location beside Kennigar Beach good for the early morning dog walks or a dip in the sea (if that's your thing). good for a base while out sight seeing or just a short walk i to the town for a few drinks and some food.

We had an incredible few days in Malin Head at Radharc Banbha. The location exceeded our expectations - it was beyond peaceful and picturesque. We could see waves crashing on the shore and sheep happily wandering around the fields. The local hiking and history were absolutely fantastic, as were the nearby pub and restaurant. We'd wanted to give our kids a feel for the Irish countryside, and Radharc Banbha delivered that in a most magical way. Geraldine was easy to coordinate with and left lovely touches to welcome us. We wound up arriving very late, and Geraldine wonderfully offered us a late checkout to offset that when we were leaving, which was really appreciated as no one wanted to leave this perfect spot!! We felt at home immediately and everyone wants to go back again soon.

This is a lovely cottage at a very quiet beach just a 1 minute walk through a grassy area. Sea views from living room window. House was cosy and warmed up quickly when heat was on. There was everything needed for a short stay. I wasn't aware there was no WiFi until we arrived and mobile service was patchy. But this was fine as it was a relaxing stay we were after It would be good if there was somewhere to store sandy shoes etc outside rather than having to bring them inside when raining. It would also be great if towels were provided and there were blackout blinds in bedrooms. We hope to be back thanks

Mary and Barry made us very welcome into their well appointed home, and gave us lots of helpful suggestions of places to visit and where to shop and eat out. The house was immaculate, with all the ameneties we needed. We had a lovely time in the area and would defiinitely recommend this house for a comfortable stay in this corner of Donegal.

Had a lovely week with family in the beautiful cottage. check in instructions were straightforward. Cottage itself is situated in a peaceful and beautiful setting overlooking the atlantic Ocean. Rooms were comfortable and felt total relaxed during our stay. Would recommend this beautiful accomodation for family or a group of friends who would like to get away from it all. Amazing restaurants and the town of Dungloe is 15 minutes drive away.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und groß, es ist alles vorhanden um einen tollen und unvergesslichen Urlaub zu verbringen. Die Lage ist sehr einsam, wunderschön und der Blick aufs Meer einfach traumhaft. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

The cottage was in a beautiful spot, lovely view looking out onto the river, the house was very comfortable & clean. Emma was very helpful & replied to any queries straight away. We also left something at the cottage which she kindly dropped off at our relations house after we left. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to other people

Just spent an incredible week at this stunning Donegal gem, perfectly situated right beside the breathtaking Dooey Beach. The house itself is a dream – beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and with every comfort thoughtfully provided. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to stroll onto the beach in moments was pure bliss. A truly magical and restorative escape, and easily a 5-star experience!

Jim’s place was amazing! Had everything I needed! Jim and the neighbours in the street gave great recommendations and made me feel so welcome! Absolutely loved staying here!

We had a lovely May Bank Holiday weekend at Christine's place. Everything you need is in. Spacious living room with beautiful view, well equipped kitchen to prep meals for us and kids. Firepit outside to enjoy smores in the evening. House was clean and well prepared for group of 3 families with kids. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Schoolhouse; the space is maintained with a lot of care, and was plenty of room for our family of five. The location is just gorgeous; we walked to the beach, and I loved going for runs through the countryside every morning. And then all sitting with our books around the cozy peat fireplace at night! Elma was incredibly helpful; she went above and beyond in welcoming us, giving advice on things to do in the area, and making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The Schoolhouse is such a gem, and we're going to try to come back!

We had a great stay at Brian's place on Tory island, the location was perfect and Brian was an amazing host! Definitely will return

Amazing few days in Donegal, I wanted to move in and keep that view for ever! Lovely house and plenty of space. So much to do in the area, we'll have to come back! Brilliant communication about location and check in etc, thanks for everything!

We spent two months in this wonderful cottage while awaiting our move to our new home. Sean was an incredible host who was so helpful, welcoming and kind. We fell in love with the cottage! It was just perfect for us. Beautiful decor that was just to our taste. We never got tired of the view of the bay which provided hours of walks and entertainment. The area is peaceful and really lovely. We love to cook and the kitchen was very well equipped. Also, a wonderful library of famous Irish authors! What a bonus! I was able to read 4 great novels during our stay! This cottage is a perfect escape but is close to Dungloe, shops and amenities. We spent many days discovering the gorgeous beaches in the area. We will never forget our time at this wonderful Airbnb and we will definitely be back. Sean and his lovely cottage provided a perfect introduction to our new life in Ireland. Thank you so much for making our first months here so memorable! Just perfect!

The house was very comfortable. The view is stunning. We had a lovely stay. We would recommend.

Sinead was an excellent host, helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is simply stunning. The house was beautiful. It was modern and the best thing is that it is spacious. We were a big family and booked 2 houses and there was so much space in the rooms but also in the living areas.The kitchen was really well stocked. It was the perfect find for us. It is on a hill with stunning views. The only problem was that we did not stay long enough - would love if our logistics allowed us to stay for more than 3 nights. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Would love to return. x

The location is fabulous, there is nowhere better than this house! We met Alanna, and she is so helpful, nice and friendly. The scones and hot tea upon arrival were super heartwarming. The house is cozy and warm! We were with our 3 doggies and they were so happy living right at the beach! Thank you so much Alanna for everything! We will come back again!!!

Great location and really well equipped, literally has everything you could want. 15 minute walk into Dunfanaghy, close to the beach and beautiful views. Great deck out the back (sadly the weather didn’t allow us to spend much time here). We will be back!

Had an amazing few days at Jillian’s place , gorgeous comfortable cosy home with terrific sea views , lovely walk to the pier and local restaurant. Quiet and peaceful location where house situated . We were visiting family member who lives in the area . Lovely walks on Marble Hill beach wasn’t brave enough to go in for a swim but will next time . Needed the car as other guest limited mobility. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom downstairs too was ideal . Would recommend this property 100 % . Some great music on Jillian and killian’s Spotify lovely chilled break just what we needed . The Cope in Portnoo is an absolute gem. Beautiful house in a stunning location near the beach. House was spotless and lovely place to relax. The owners could not be more helpful- gave us lots of handy tips of places to go. Best day is an explore of the beach, a dip in the sea and a relax in the sauna. If you’re looking for a base to explore Donegal, the Cope is number one or to just have a relaxing time. Could not rate it highly enough and a real pleasure to spend time in this stunning property!

Michelle and Josie were incredibly welcoming and helpful before our stay, upon checkin and throughout. The house is located on a beautiful beach and is an amazing and unique place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland. It was extremely clean and has amazing facilities. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here with two adult family members and we were all delighted with the house and its surroundings. There are lovely views and the house is beautifully designed, full of light and character, with carefully chosen objects and pictures on display. Chris and Jude demonstrate that accommodation does not have to be bland and grey! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well supplied and we enjoyed relaxing indoors when not out and about in beautiful Donegal. The sheep in the adjoining field were a delight to observe! I have had a lifetime of visiting this area and this is probably the nicest place I have stayed. Our only criticism is that we couldn’t get the TV to work, but then we didn’t come to Donegal to watch TV, so not a big concern.

I recently stayed at this incredible Airbnb and can’t recommend it enough! The views were absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic landscapes that felt like something out of a dream. The location was perfect, just a short drive to nearby towns with fantastic bars, restaurants, and stunning beaches. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with easy access to everything, this is the place to be! We will 100% be booking again!

Great dog friendly caravan, view is absolutely amazing. Stayed there for 2 nights,beach really close,pubs and restaurants short drive distance, place is like described with everything needed for relaxing stay (and little extras like coffee/tea/milk/buiscits..) Rory was really good at responding to any questions we had. We'll miss that view for sure and their doggie too ;) Would 100% come back again.
