We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay in Jo’s glamping pod. It’s so much more than a pod and definitely a luxurious option. Both the main bed and the sofa bed are very comfortable and the linens and towels are of great quality. The kitchen is well-equipped and Jo has thought of everything. I always take a bag with essentials such as a sponge, tea towel, washing up liquid etc, but these weren’t needed. Jo even provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, should you need it. There is a drawer full of ordinance survey maps and guide books for the area and a folder with all the information you need for your stay. Jo is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only does she provide great information about the local area, but she will let you know when the badgers are out feeding. We spent almost every evening glued to the window at the back of the garage, watching a large badger cub eating the peanuts and egg that Jo leaves for them. This property was perfect for us as we had a mix of age groups from 89-7 years old and very close to the venue for our family wedding. Although not ultra modern its peaceful, very clean and very comfortable and it accomodated our family and dogs very very well. Margaret was very helpful with something that was left behind which was very kind of her to return it. The children loved the pool table and that kept them entertained. I think there is a TV in almost every room if you crave TV and there is a lovely garden spot to chill out. The only thing that was missing for us was a dishwasher and with a big property that would have been helpful for tidying up especially at check out time. Other wise great!

It has been a pleasure to stay in Zan's house. Very comfortable, clean and makes you feel at home. The children loved the horses, chickens and all the animals. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries

Perfect stay for us and the dogs. Lovely quiet location despite being right next to the A75, even with the windows open we didn’t get disturbed. Great location for exploring D&G, and not far from Dumfries and the bigger shops if that’s what you like. House was very comfy, clean and had a great kitchen with everything you may need. We would stay here again if we were in the area. Thanks!
