This home offers a Cal King bed in the upstairs bedroom, queen size beds in each of the 2 downstairs bedrooms, and an extra fold out queen size bed if needed. Great location in the best part of town!

Close to snow skiing at Mt. Shasta. Well known for its hiking trails, water falls, Siskiyou lake, Castle lake and fishing one block away on the Sacramento River. Lake Shasta Caverns is approximately 15 miles South of Dunsmuir. The great well known Yaks restaurant is just a few blocks away.

Upper Sac Cottage!

We came here as a group of friends for a trip to Mt. Shasta and had a great stay! The location is super convenient—right in the center of town and just 10 minutes from all our destinations. The house is next to a train route and a church, but the noise wasn’t a problem for us. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The only small thing we noticed was that there wasn’t any cooking oil in the kitchen, but everything else was well-stocked. Overall, a great experience—would definitely recommend!

Caddis Shack-2/2 Near Downtown and the River!

This was our second stay at the Caddis-Shack and we will be back! It checks all the boxes for a five-star vacation home. The lilacs are in bloom and smell divine. We can't wait to be there this summer and take advantage of the comfortable seating in the backyard and the amazing covered patio area with the fire pit.

Beautiful 2bed/1ba in a peaceful private community. The property is renovated on the inside, true to the pictures. The check-in and parking instructions were accurate. The Sac River is a block away so you can hear the beautiful sound of flowing water all day. The big room is great for a couple (+ child), the second room is great for a solo person and cozy for a couple. The rest of the condo has a spacious living area with tv/games/books, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor balcony with great views where you can eat out in nice weather (which we did!). Note that the train tracks are just across the river, so you will hear the train a few times including at night - but this seems to be the case anywhere in Dunsmuir. I would recommend this place and hope to be back in this nature retreat again.

I would definitely recommend staying at Leslie’s place. It was very clean and peaceful, and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. You can see the goats grazing and a bit of Mt. Shasta while you’re taking a hot shower. Leslie was very welcoming and helpful. The room was well stocked with everything you need and spacious enough for three people. Overall had a great stay and would stay again.

Had a wonderful stay and wonderful time enjoying the local scenery and peaceful setting. Having the guesthouse separate from the owners living area, let me come and go without feeling like I was intruding. Everything was clean and the instructions made it very easy to find. Highly recommend!

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!
