Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Durango

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kristen’s condo! I personally think it’s even nicer in person than what they’re able to depict in the pictures. The area was gorgeous, peaceful, and comfy. The club property that it’s in also has so much to it; we took advantage of the gym, got some gelato from one of the restaurants, and took a walk on the huge property. It was a little chilly in the apartment when we went (but not terribly so / winter conditions) and so it was a little confusing figuring out how to get the bedroom specifically comfortable temp wise for us. There’s a lot of blankets to use that solved the situation for us though. The bed was also very comfy! But everything else was great!

We had a great stay here. Beautiful area and clean place. Front desk staff was wonderful and good restaurants were a bonus.

Highly recommend! The house had beautiful views, was very clean, and felt like home. We’d definitely stay here again. The view from the hot tub is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Rhonda And Todd’s very communicative and helpful.

Unit was very nice, well cleaned with many upgrades. The whole resort is immaculate with great views and amenities . Nearest grocery store is 10 miles away so take what you need. Excellent place , would go to the resort again as well as this unit.

Amazing views, easy access. Really enjoyed our Colorado excursion. There are great places to eat and close to Durango. Really enjoyed the local music and food at the adjacent bar and grill. We were really comfortable and really appreciated the clean bedding.

Karen’s condo was perfect for us. It was walking distance to the lifts and everything else. Our son went to the fitness center every morning and throughly enjoyed the equipment and facilities. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend it for your next visit to Purgatory.

The room is perfect for a couple or small family and also stocked with many things that not all places provide. Access to the golf and pool/jacuzzi was very nice. Quiet was also notable.

I would definitely recommend this house! It is in a great location and has wonderful amenities. Having the restaurants, pool, and hot tub in the neighborhood was great for our family. The 3 full bathrooms were a bonus! We would stay here again!

Wonderful slope-side location. So convenient and great amenities, including access to hot tub! I would highly recommend for a family ski trip.

This was the halfway point to meet friends from AZ. Great location, beautiful views and much more peaceful than staying in Durango. The condo was a home away from home; clean, comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was provided. Amanda made sure we knew of local events taking place during our stay and offered suggestions on things to do and restaurants in the area. Thank you Amanda!!

I enjoyed staying in Kate's place. it was clean and quiet. kitchen has everything you need for a short trip. you even have access to some trails without driving. I was very close to the trails I wanted to hike like Elbert trail. the stove is slow to heat up but does the job. the indoor pool was the best place to relax after a long hike. I will definitely go back there for my next trip.

Our first time at Purgatory with our family of 5 and the location was great! Hosts were responsive if we had a question, a short walk to the ski lift and loved that it was on the first floor. Also loved the bench outside the door to put on and take off your ski boots. Highly recommend!

They were beyond helpful and understanding! Amazing communication and fast response with everything. We really enjoyed the place and appreciated how clean and organized it was. Thanks!

Great place with plenty of room! Close to the slopes so we didn’t have to worry about driving or shuttles. Tons of helpful things in place for us to use for cooking and things.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! I absolutely 10/10 recommend this place and would stay here again! It's nicer than the photos and the host is delightful! Such a great location for exploring and seeing National Parks in the region.

We enjoyed our stay at Katina, Jacob and Dallas’ adobe home completely. We felt welcomed before we even arrived and when we did, were met with a clean, cozy and super well organized home. There was lots of room! The house is well laid out and the fully stocked kitchen was much appreciated. It was really helpful to have a washer/dryer and even a dishwasher. It was too warm during our visit for a fire but the fireplace is awesome. We enjoyed just looking at it imaging how we need to come back in the winter and cozy up in the living room:) The hosts invited us to freely enjoy the hot tub and on- site teepee! Such a friendly and easy going family:). Could not recommend this place and these hosts more highly.

We had the best time with our family and the house was perfect. The fall colors were amazing with many pictures to show for it.

The views are fantastic on the back porch. The morning animal visits were great. Seeing the many animal tracks in the snow was a learning journey. Playground area was used by kids. They had a great time playing in the snow and having open space to roam about; it was a home. The residence is open, bright, and very welcoming. Well stocked kitchen and enough storage spaces for guests. Guests have to stick to hosts water process. Be conscious of thier energy usage and waste. The atmosphere is relaxed and clean. It's a place for solitude and forced involvement. Not for people who wanna TV veg out. The shopping isn't far. We drove the back roads to avoid the 550 traffic. George is wonderful and very kind. The hosts were fantastic. They treated us like human beings and not dollar bills. If we go back to Durango, we will definitely see if this home is available.

Great location in proximity to Purgatory resort and cozy, well decorated home made us feel right at home. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Had a great stay. Perfect house for one big or couple smaller families. Ideal location for skiing (10 minutes drive to Purgatory resort). Community has indoor and outdoor pools which were clean. Will definitely stay again.
