I stayed for almost a week and it was a very enjoyable stay. The house is located beautifullly in a valley, quiet, but walking distance from everything you could need in Dürnstein. The rooms were a perfect mix of hotel and ”home”. Homely decorated but very clean. My room had an on-suite and a balcony with a view of the castle and the hills beyond. Hosts were very friendly, clear instructions checking in and were willing to stand my broken german to communicate. The breakfast was beyond my expectations and always had something extra other than the usual bread rolls and yoghurt. One or both hosts were present personally during breakfast and were happy to serve tea or coffee, make you a boiled egg or just chat and answer questions. Overall an excellent experience and will happily return!
