We really enjoyed our stay at Dock Cottage. It was modern elegance mixed with warm vintage touches. It had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable and we loved the dock, hot tub and kayaking on the lake. It was quiet and peaceful and felt far away from everything yet we were an easy walk from Miss Nelle’s coffee shop and ice cream stand where we went each morning for a coffee (opens at 7am), Muskoka Brewing Company for a beer and a few other Baysville shops. The communication and instructions were really helpful and we received prompt replies if we had a question so it felt like we were really taken care of. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends.

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Incredible cottage. Exceeded expectations. Paul was proactive and totally understood what we needed. THEE most comfortable beds. Brilliant hot tub. View was incredible. Wildlife kept us entertained. Absolutely recommend if you want modern cottage comfort with old school charm.

Loved the cottage very clean, there was cleaning supplies and small things that they keep stocked with was very nice to be able to grab from when we ran out instead of going to town. The hot tub was great very clean, and the screened in porch out front was a great touch aswell.

The cottage was great! Perfect for a weekend out of the city, our group and I loved the entire experience. Janice was very helpful and even left a very sweet personal touch for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to stay! very clean and exactly as depicted in description and photos! Tip: if you come in the spring, bring bug repellent!

Great cottage for larger groups! Enjoyed the variety of games provided on site. Huge yard for lots of space to play, Dock is secure and has some built in seating. Offers great views while standing around the fire. Walk to fire pit was further away from house then we liked (our only complaint). Bathrooms on each floor was a bonus. Beds on top floor are bigger then the pictures for the bedroom without the balcony. If you have larger group bring lots of bottled water. Signs for a Marina just before getting to the cottage offer ice, wood $10/bag, kindling, snacks, etc.

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! Claudia’s home is warm, welcoming, and had everything we needed — plus thoughtful extras for us, which we really appreciated. The space was clean, spacious, and cozy, with plenty of room to relax. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus for us (there is an additional pet cleaning fee, which is good to know ahead of time), and it was clear that Claudia had gone out of her way to make pets feel at home too. We loved spending time on the water using the kayaks and canoe, and enjoyed cozying up by the fire both nights of our stay. The neighbors were also very friendly, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. We’d absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway — especially if you're traveling with a dog!

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

Had a great 3-day, 2-night cottage stay! The property was just as described—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Jonathan’s place! Everything was just as described, Jonathan was quick to respond all of our questions. The kitchen amenities were top notch, it had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. We also really enjoyed the new bbq grill. The location was easy to find. The house has an amazing view of the lake, which is great for swimming and kayaking. I’d definitely recommend Jonathan’s place!

Karm was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped — every little detail was thought of and well-organized. The property itself is fantastic, overlooking a stunning lake, and the cottage is tastefully designed with a modern touch. We especially enjoyed our morning coffees on the set up floating dock, complete with Muskoka chairs — a perfect way to start the day! There's also plenty of outdoor equipment available for those who enjoy being out on the water. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Ke/Shannon’s place—it was peaceful, clean, and perfect for our group of five. The home included all the listed amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks left for us on arrival. Shannon was incredibly responsive, answering our questions almost immediately. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the private dock was a great spot to relax outdoors. While the lake is quite weedy for swimming or fishing, the provided kayaks are a nice option to explore the water. Would definitely recommend!

😍Wow! Beautiful location and cottage! We loved everything about this cottage. The side dining area gave a cozy/private spot to eat and play board games. Kitchen was absolutely perfect - on top of being clean and well stocked - it was a delight to cook in! Decor was well planned and designed, giving a peaceful, calming space. Very relaxing! So close to Sir Sam’s, it was a perfect spot for us this winter. Wish we booked for longer! The host was super helpful and very responsive.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Rowan Cottage! It was my husband and I with our little Boston Terrier and everything was perfect! The place was spotless when we got there and the instructions to check in were very easy to navigate. The place felt brand new. It was just the right amount of space for us. It is a fairly private area and the waters were very peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the water at all! The views from the cottage were amazing - perfect for the morning coffee! Appliances were great, and the washroom was so clean. There were awesome board games and vinyl records to jam to. As well as a Bluetooth speaker to connect. We were never bored! For anyone looking to visit, there are a fair bit of mosquitos so remember bug spray! Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable 2 night stay at the hideaway! Super cozy and homey cottage with beautiful views in a very serene and peaceful area. A true winter wonderland. The space was very rustic and charming. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals and the dining area very well laid out next to it. The living room was extremely cozy and relaxing to hang out in, especially with a lit fire. Getting there was easy, parking was easy, checking in and out, a breeze. Both Sarah and Matt were very responsive, kind and accessible hosts. We’d definitely book with the again and stay at their cottage!

Justin’s Airbnb was a beautiful and wonderful experience! Very fast response times and made our check in a smooth and easy process. The cottage was also more than equipped from kitchen utensils all the way to kayak , canoes and life jackets even some feminine hygiene products! All in all the Airbnb is located in a beautiful spot and was such a great experience I would definitely come back and spend time here again!

Our group was very impressed with this cottage. The location is perfect and has beautiful views. The cottage itself is flawless…It had everything our group needed, and more. Chris & Kate were very accommodating and responsive. Fishing off the dock was great. We had to cancel our golf game due to bad weather but the group wasn’t too upset since we had more time to spend at the cottage. I highly recommend this property and host. We will be back again!

Beautiful cottage for a family weekend on the cutest little lake, perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The kitchen was highly stocked with everything you could need and all the beds were very comfortable. Also very relaxing cute sun room off the main living area. Jennifer was a great host would highly recommend to anyone!

Red Fox Lakehouse exceeded our expectations in every way. A cosy and modern cabin feel with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gorge lake view and comfy beds. So much to do & fun for all ages- fire pit, lake, boats, games, hot tub & sauna! Showcased Ontario’s serenity, tranquillity and beauty! Laura was friendly, responsive and helpful in every way. Loved all the decor detail, organization, and cleanliness. Felt like a lux resort in a cottage setting. Thank you Laura & Jamie- looking forward to our next stay. Cheers Mary

My friends and I had the most amazing time at Lisa’s cottage! The cottage was even more beautiful than the photos!! Well shocked kitchen, including spices and other pantry items. Very spacey cottage with lots of places to relax. Very comfy beds. We really loved spending time at the private beach and having a campfire. Great location, with a well stocked local marina a 10 minute walk away, and Haliburton close by as well. Everything was exactly as described and we cannot wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time at this wonderful lake house. Nadia’s home is just like the pictures - beautiful and inviting. It has all the comforts of home and is well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with ample quality cookware to prepare any meal. There are multiple areas to sit back and enjoy the gorgeous lake view. The outdoor space was equally impressive - we enjoyed having a catch in the backyard and relaxing on the dock. Nadia is a wonderful host that goes out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they need and she promptly responded to any of our inquiries. I would not hesitate to book again.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!
