Treehouse holiday rentals in East Africa

My stay with my friend at Anne’s place Yoh🔥We both didn’t wanna leave like bro the waterfall, the walks in the forest and you know we would like to make our mini movie there it’s fantastic…I’m taking my small fam there next time🥰♥️we loved it felt like home💃

The lodge is right on the lake with greenery surrounding and some tortoises and rabbits running around. The pictures don’t do this place justice. You just have to be there. The place has an antique vibe. You wake up to the beautiful view of the lake and sounds of the birds. You can kayak, swim, feed fish or rent out a boat out into the lake either sundowner or during the day or they organise for you to see other lakes (Green crater lake). The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They give local recommendations, especially as I was travelling alone they made sure I was safe especially in moving around. I want to extend my utmost gratitude to the team. I felt right at home. Thank you so much!! Highly highly recommend. Book it don’t even think about it, it’s one of the best spots on the lake.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

Geweldige locatie knus en gezellig midden in bush tussen de dieren en vlakbij de rivier waar aan de overkant het krugerpark ligt. We hebben daar giraffen olifanten en leeuwen gezien en in het water ook nijlpaarden super dus.

Had a breathtakingly amazing stay at Sabrina’s property. It’s the perfect getaway for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Joburg. The property itself is gorgeous and the nature everywhere absolutely elevated the experience. My partner & I easily rate this place a solid 10/10; I lowkey wanted to gatekeep it cause it’s so stellar however it wouldn’t be fair to others. Sabrina, once again thank you.

We were there to film sharks for a documentary. If you like to scuba, totally recommend this as a place to stay. Dive from the Malongane Dive Center. Must have a 4x4. Beautiful view. Great entertainment area, clean and airconed rooms. Would live to come back for a family holiday.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Von Entspannung bis Aktivität alles machbar, super nettes Personal. Einziges Problem war es zu finden, das hat uns 2 Stunden gekostet. Am besten frühzeitig vor der Anreise kontaktieren und genaue Wegbeschreibung anfordern - oder immer den Schildern nach „white water lodge“ folgen und nicht von 7km Buckelpiste abschrecken lassen.

A nossa estadia neste lugar foi incrível! O jantar estava ótimo e fomos super bem atendidos — a pessoa que nos serviu foi muito simpática e atenciosa. Quero deixar um agradecimento especial ao Rapha. Quando chegámos, o carro ficou preso na lama e não conseguíamos sair. Ele apareceu rapidamente, resolveu tudo num instante e ainda nos tranquilizou com muita calma e boa disposição. Experiência 5 estrelas, sem dúvida!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean &cozy. The location was perfect, and the communication with the host (&family) was smooth and super friendly. We felt at home right away and would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience!

This cabin on the hill was perfect for our group, super convenient 3 minute path down to the beach and town and beautiful balcony with a view. Comfortable beds and clean. Only note is there is no WiFi which was a bit inconvenient for those without phone data. Would definitely recommend!

Absolut entspannendes Baumhaus-Erlebnis – aber Sauberkeit im Kühlschrank nötig Was für ein toller Ort, um nach einer Safari abzuschalten. Paulines Baumhaus ist voll ausgestattet, bietet ein unglaublich bequemes Bett und liegt mitten im Grünen. Das süße Eichhörnchen, das uns regelmäßig Gesellschaft leistete und uns unser Obst klaute, war das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Gummidichtung des Kühlschranks war verschimmelt, ebenso wie die Chilis in ihrem Behälter. Hier muss definitiv die Reinigung intensiviert werden, da Lebensmittel dort gelagert werden. Abgesehen davon war es eine fantastische Auszeit in der Natur...Vielen Dank Pauline:)

Anikia' place is unique. Original set-up in the middle of a huge farm where you can take a real break from everything and disconnect. Kids loved the tree house and the zip line. Despite our original thoughts to do something around The Wagons, due to the remoteness and quietness of the place, we decided to stay and enjoy it as much as possible

Lizette's Treehouse is an amazing place to rest, relax and explore nature. We had our friends from the US with us and they absolutely loved it. Thanks Lizette for a wonderful experience.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what I needed for some restful time away. The space had everything I needed, was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the gorgeous views each morning was a real highlight. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

If there were ten stars I’d give them. I NEVER write reviews, but I was blown away by the super cool treehouse where monkeys would come visit me on my patio. An excellent restaurant/bar is a great place to meet other travelers. Easy walking distance to the beach. Less than a dollar Tuk-tuk ride to anything you need, or just walk the beach. The nightly bush baby feeding is a must see. I absolutely loved the treehouse, but the staff was even more amazing. Everyone was super friendly and made you feel like part of the family when you stay there. Jane went so far out of her way to manage a very last minute safari to tsavo, make sure I had everything I needed and got home safely. She’s a wonderful person and hopefully a friend for life. I will definitely come back someday. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO STAY IN DIANI!
