Holiday rentals with a fire pit in East Cook

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

It was nice, quite and short stay. Beautiful place and hoss are respectful and responsive. Looks exactly like photos. Would definitely book it once again if I have to.

Kapil’s place was great. He was very accommodating for our needs, I highly recommend staying here for a day or two.

This sweet house exceded expectations and could not have been more inviting and comfortable. It was hard to leave! But I'm already planning a return...highly recommended for anyone looking for a most tranquil escape.

"Viewpoint" has alot to offer from the spectacular views towards the lake & beyond. Spacious kitchen & living area which includes a album collection enjoyed by all. Spent alot of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The Lutsen area has alot to offer and we definitely took advantage of some. The Red cabin was cute ! Overall our stay was very nice and fit our expectations . Thank you, till the next time..

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in thunder Bay, look no further. This great little spot has everything you would hope for, and more. Brian and Donna have thought of everything that might make your stay just a little bit more comfortable. Hands down, this is the best deal I have ever found.

Wendy’s Airbnb is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re having to walk at all. Wendy will greet you upon arrival, and I found her to be incredibly friendly and personable-she’s truly great to chat with and was very accommodating throughout my stay. She and her husband reside upstairs which makes for quick and easy communication. Personally I find it valuable when the host is on site as it makes it feel safer, and I’ve had issues at other properties where hosts weren’t present. I’d seen this ad before but hesitated because it’s a basement apartment. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised-it’s much brighter and more welcoming than the ad suggests. The apartment was very clean, the bed is soft and comfortable and coffee pods are provided, which is all I really ask for when staying somewhere.🙂The beautiful little backyard is obviously well-tended, and there’s an area where you can sit out in the sun. This Airbnb feels like a home away from home, and I’d stay again.

Communication with the hosts was smooth and fast before and during the stay. The studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area, and reading by the fireplace in the evenings. It was so nice to relax on the lakeshore, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops nearby. I would def stay here again!

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

Beautiful spot in GM - watched the lake from the picture window overlooking the bay. Very walkable to great food and shopping and a great home base force hikes, bikes, and adventures …also enjoyed the lawn furniture in the shade of pretty tree. I loved every minute of my 2 week stay.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

I stayed here for three days with my wife and 2-month-old daughter. We received a warm welcome from Robert and Chester. We also got to meet Emmy Lou the following day. We loved everything about the stay. We woke up to the beautiful sounds of nature and felt one with it as we walked around the place. Robert recommended some local spots that we couldn't find on Google, and we enjoyed them. He was always ready to help us feel at home, and we recommend his place for anyone visiting Thunder Bay. P.S.: If you like "The Outdoor Boys", then you'll enjoy interacting with Robert, learning about his projects, the place and everything about the overall experience.

This place was amazing! The view was unbeatable. We happened to hit it during peak Fall colors and during a local studio art tour- what a treat! Lots of parks and hikes around! Sunrise!!!! Restaurants are plentiful in Grand Marais. The shower situation and outhouse was a little less adjustment, but we made it all work and it definitely wouldn't keep us from coming back! In a sweet way the privative living made us appreciate our lives more and added to the experience! This place is just perfect. Plan to carry your trash out! What a treat!

Lovely cabin with gorgeous Lake Superior views from almost every place in the house. Our family enjoyed the comfy beds, thoughtful design, and the ability to stay connected to the lake even when back at the cabin during our Lake Superior adventure.

Lodge 34 was a delight for all 6 of us. The boys thoroughly enjoyed it from the time we arrived until the time we left. Everything was spotless and looked brand new. Everyone liked the North Woods look and feel. Beautiful screened porch. Would highly recommend this lodge. Paul

A great location for larger groups to stay; the sauna, fire pit, and various bedrooms gave us plenty of space to do plenty of things. A great retreat after a day of hiking.

Caribou Cove felt at home the minute we stepped in. Very clean, free of clutter and oh, so homey! Everything is so well thought out and easy. Lisa took good care of us even though she was on her own vacation. We had to use WIFI for zoom meetings (great WIFI!) but once those were done, the laptops closed and we went exploring. There is so much to do! We were honored to visit with THE Betsy Bowen at her art gallery in Grand Marais. Sivertson's Gallery never disappoints, either. There is a pair of trumpeter swans on the lake who were inspiring to watch. I plan to return here with my family next year. I highly recommend Caribou Cove but don't tell everyone - I want to get my next vacation time booked, soon! Enjoy!

Maren and Derrick were fantastic hosts. Our stay at Fyrre cabin was an absolute perfect escape! From the moment we booked, Maren was extremely welcoming, courteous, and responsive, making communication a breeze. Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, which made us feel welcome and cared for. As for the cabin itself, it was fantastic! The atmosphere was awesome. We were looking for an escape from the world, and this cabin delivered that and so much more. The quiet surroundings allowed us to truly unwind and recharge. Our kids loved it as well, "BEST CABIN EVER!" Thank you, Maren and Derrick, for providing such a wonderful getaway!

What a great place, right on the lake and stocked with anything you may need. The views were beautiful and we felt right at home!

This cute little cabin was the perfect spot for us to relax over a long holiday weekend. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is so much to explore along the North Shore. It is small and the perfect size for me and my husband. Would also work well if you had 2 small kids. Book this no-frills place if you want a break from the stress of the city. Just a short walk down the road to the beach and rock coast of Lake Superior. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
