Waterfront holiday rentals in East Cook

The condo was well stocked with items necessary for a rental. It is convenient to many areas of interest and it provides a lot of amenities. Pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and areas outdoors for sitting or exploring. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Great place with plenty of sleeping areas. Owner also provided ideas for dining and for things to do. Highly recommend!

Not reflecting on the owners of the unit but the door leading to the deck was below our room. The door thudded loudly when it was open and closed.

We loved our stay here. The view of Lake Superior was amazing! Loved that it had a pool and hot tub, plus had a game room with pool table, ping pong and darts. Also had a nice common area with couches, chairs, tables. Detailed instructions on arrival and how to get in. Thank you!!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

Kelly’s place made my family’s trip to Thunder Bay a memorable one. I was really impressed with how fully stocked the place was with supplies! We didn’t need anything extra. There were so many games and activities around, we never got bored. The space and size of the place was perfect for hosting a large group. I would highly recommend! The only thing very minor thing I would’ve wished for was the dock have been in the water, as we did a lot of swimming through the weekend. Overall 10/10. Thank you Kelly for an amazing weekend!

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

We had such a peaceful trip and will 100% be back for a longer trip. The views are absolutely amazing, the lake is clean and beautiful. So quite and relaxing. Ely has some nice restaurants and we are looking forward to coming back to explore more.

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

We had absolutely everything anyone could possibly need at our fingertips and we would stay here again in a heart beat. What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hosts were so kind and accommodating to our needs. Ability to jump in the lake after sauna was an absolute treat!

On both nights of the stay, host reached out to let us know if we stepped outside we may be able to see the northern lights. Before the stay, had several lists of recommendations and things to do in the area. Quick response time and very friendly. The condo is in a beautiful, serene location that is perfect to escape to.

I'm not one for words but it was absolutely spectacular plenty of room for a family of five super quiet and absolutely gorgeous scenery. Will definitely book again as soon as I can.

Christine’s place was the tranquility that we were looking for! The unit is located at the end of the building which made it so very easy to unload! You could sit inside and enjoy the views of the water or you had the choice of sitting outside at a high top table or relax adirondack chairs! It was a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a book! The inside was so comfortable and cozy! We didn’t use the fireplace but on a cold fall or winter night it would have been amazing! The kitchen is stalked with a great cookware set and knives that we took good advantage of! There is also a well stocked spice rack & seasoning drawer. Being right on the water was a huge perk and the ability to walk down the stairs to the rocks was incredible. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit! The 3 nights went so quickly and we were not ready to come home. Thank you again Christine!

We felt so welcome and at home for our week stay. Beautiful views and the pool/hot tub/sauna/game room is always great for our family! We had an amazing time and will be back!

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect for walking anywhere in Grand Marais and a comfortable place to rest and recharge after hiking. The view of the harbor is beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. The unit is sunny and bright we hardly needed to use any lights until the sun went down. In fact the unit has so much natural light you may want to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. Thank you Linda for providing such a perfect spot. We hope to return someday soon.

The stay was great! The loft was very clean, functional, and as described. The furniture, beds, and over all craftsmanship/style of the loft was awesome. Yea, it can be a bit noisy but it didn’t bother my family which included my wife, our 10 year old and my sister. The view is great! Grand Marias is always joy to visit and the Cassidy’s place is positioned perfectly to take advantage of what the town has to offer. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.
