Holiday rentals with a fire pit in East Flanders

We felt very comfortable in the house. Unfortunately, it was only 3 days that were filled with a lot of program, so we could hardly enjoy the beautiful house and the great garden. The house was loving, cozy and very practically furnished, the beds were comfortable and everything sparkling clean. Leen was totally sweet and accommodating, responded directly to questions and helped. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just throw the fireplace on. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is 7 minutes' walk away, where you can find really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and it is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

Beautiful house. We had a wonderful week’s holiday. We were lucky with the weather. Sheep and chickens intrigued our 2 year old. I struggled with the stairs as they were so narrow and steep but there was a bedroom downstairs. Thank you Ann.

What an amazing place to stay, everything was available and even beyond… we loved it and whatever we needed we could ask the host, and they would arrange it. Defebitely coming back

Everything was correct with the description! We were with our family, 8 adults, for 3 nights in the big house. Everything looked super sleek, clean and well cared for, cozy and neat. Beautiful large bedrooms spread over the 2 floors, both with a bathroom and toilet. At the rear, there is a clear view with a cozy garden and good garden furniture. The "bonus" was the pool room, super fun! Within 2 minutes at a beautiful Spar with a large assortment. And of course Bruges and Ghent are a short drive away. Ellen responded super quickly to our questions with comprehensive answers. We were in a very warm weekend but with the air conditioners we had no reason to complain inside. Finally, if I may give 1 "point of attention", it is the lack of sun protection or parasol at the rear. To be honest, I have to say that we didn't ask a question about this either, so maybe it was somewhere.

The stay was really great. Even the nice welcome message made us smile. The view of the lake is fantastic. The garden is fenced, which is great because we had a dog with us. There were even extra towels for the dog's paws. So, here, too, we thought along with you in a totally loving way. The accommodation had everything you needed and above all, everything was clean. The bed was perfectly comfortable. The upstairs bathroom is open to the bedroom, you should know that. So there is no door. But that didn't bother us, because there is also a toilet with a door downstairs ;-) All in all, we can absolutely recommend this accommodation and say thank you for the great stay :-)

We really enjoyed the beautiful location. It is a cozy and cozy cottage which looks beautiful with a stove that creates a good atmosphere. Koen also indicated that he was always available and proved this as well. It is nice that it was easy to drive to Ghent and that we could still enjoy nature in peace. All in all a fantastic place to stay and had time!

This was a perfect base to explore Brussels, and Marko is a super helpful and responsive host. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the guidebook provided by Marco-- and he's correct about where the best waffles are!

Great apartment, well equipped, clean and stylish. Beds were really comfy and close to shops and only a 20 minute walk from Grand Place. We especially enjoyed the sauna, great addition. Zawar was really helpful and made sure everything was okay whilst we stayed. Thank you for having us.

We had a very pleasant stay at Domnique's, greatly appreciated being able to park our car to freely visit Brussels. The garden is beautiful at this time of year, and the neighborhood is quiet. A beautiful oasis to discover! Thank you Dominique!

A lovely apartment with many perks for both solo travelers and groups - the outdoor space was nice in mild weather (though could have been cleaner), the cinema setup was lovely for a night in and the beds were comfortable. Said included many extra small touches that made our stay even more comfortable, like high-end appliances and snacks/water bottles.

The accommodation is in a quiet residential area, with a metro nearby and a restaurant nearby (10 min walk).

The location was just excellent and the perfect place for us to explore Belgium & The Netherlands. It is so peaceful and quiet, plenty of space to relax. We visited with our four year old cocker spaniel, who had a great time. The road to the property is extremely bumpy but well worth the slow and steady journey! Although you are out in the wilderness, which is very relaxing, there are also so many amenities within a ten minute drive. All the locals are so very friendly. My wife who is a huge nature lover, spotted plenty of birds, bunnies and even a deer! Not that it is the owners or properties fault at all, just part of the wilderness, but we did have quite a few ticks on our dog from the garden - so just ensure they are up to date on treatment and have a tick comb handy! Anne was a wonderful host and stayed in touch throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to return in future.

We greatly enjoyed this place. Completely unwind in a green environment with lots of privacy. Ideal destination to spend a sunny winter weekend, but also the sound of the rain on the roof and the crackling of the fireplace make you forget the outside world. Everything was neat and tidy. The cottage is nicely decorated and really everything you could need is there. The ideal way to completely relax and enjoy the tranquility (but also the birds, bunnies and the heron that lands just in front of you). Of course, the jacuzzi and hot tub complete the whole thing, but even the outdoor toilet really belongs to the off grid project! Great! We'd love to come back!

Had an amazing stay! Beautiful place

Our stay was simply amazing. Hidden among the greenery in a private forest, with a gate to a field with beautiful views where you can enjoy the sun and a beautiful sunset for hours in the evening. The cottage itself is so beautiful. Equipped with all comforts: made beds, a set of towels for each guest. A fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful shower. And fresh flowers from the picking garden adjacent to the cottage are everywhere in the house. We had a great weekend with the friends and will definitely come back here! Thank you for hospitality.

Lovely little place to stay in quiet nature. Comfortable and restful with a lovely, friendly host. Be aware that the address shown before booking is not the address of the stay, it is actually a 25 min drive outside of Ghent. If visiting in the summer, you might have some flies because it is on and near working farms but this was not a major issue for us. Best to visit with a car. Great for making day trips into Ghent and other cities while still having a calm place to relax.

Very nice location, guide explains everything necessary to use the house, really advice to go in the summer, and bring mosquitos spray with you!
