Cottage holiday rentals in East Hampshire

had such a lovely stay at the little cottage. great spot to just relax and be in a secluded little sun trap away from any hustle and bustle. hot tub was perfection, garden is just perfect to sit and read our books and have some drinks, kitchen was easy to use and got the job done for cooking, shower was nice and hot and good pressure (sounds silly but i think the shower is always worth a mention!) bed was so comfy, best we’ve slept in weeks! really appreciate the sky box being included, great value for money here. big thanks to Lorraine!

Amy’s cottage was very cosy! Great location with the Buddle inn nearby for a delicious dinner. The cottage was more than big enough for our family of five and we had a hugely restful and enjoyable stay. We’ll be back!

This was our second stay at The Old Piggery, and again we absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful location. Grant is really helpful.

We just had a wonderful long weekend in Wherwell in Rob & Sue’s beautiful cottage. Such a stunning village, the cottage exceeded our expectations, Rob & Sue were fantastic hosts & the breakfast pack was great. We finished the weekend with a lovely soak in the hot tub. Thank you Rob for the lift on the Saturday & your kindness.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house, cozy yet spacious and with an amazing garden. It was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, enjoy the sunshine, relax in the hot tub, and gather around the firepit and BBQ. Keith and Jean were very welcoming and kindly showed us around, even though we arrived late. A fantastic place, we highly recommend it!

Another fantastic stay at the Piggery! Clare was once again super helpful and responsive. It really is a fantastic Air BnB, with lots of great options for things to do nearby - book it while you can!

Felt very welcome lovely cosy place for a family Tanya made us a delicious cookies which we really enjoyed it was very nice of her to take her time out and make us delicious treat,the pool and jacuzzi was the best part for my son enjoyed every bit of it Tanya is very lovely host wouldn’t think twice to come back thank you for a enjoyable weekend.

We loved staying at Renny's place in Arundel. We were able to park our car right in front of the house each day as we returned from our outings, and we also walked to the Castle, restaurants, and coffee. Very nicely decorated and loved the original art.

Loved this cottage. It had furnishings and decor entirely in keeping the age and character of the cottage. We were warned about low ceilings and the steep stairs. Kitchen is well equipped and opens on to the back garden with seating area. The separate dining area has a table cut from a slice of timber. There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Bathroom has both a roll top bath and a walk in shower. Washing machine very cleverly is tucked away next to the bathroom. Bosham is a quiet, pretty village with a frontage to the sea channel. There are 2 pubs ( both recommended),a couple of cafes and an arts and crafts centre. The Church is also worth a visit. Nearby are the seaside villages of East and West Wittering. Parking beside the West Wittering beach is expensive so plan to stay most of the day. Chichester is accessible by bus (no 56) from Bosham. All in all a great place for a few days stay.

From the warm welcome and the homemade brownies to the clean and spacious interior, Bentley Cottage is the perfect place for a New Forest escape. We are already looking forward to our next time!!

Nettle Fields exceeded our (already high) expectations. The barn design, is very cool. Windows and magnificent glass doors in every room allow the beauty of the outside to blend with the clean lines and calmness inside. It’s an incredible space which felt both tranquil and homely. The interior was immaculate, stylish, creative and high quality throughout. Our hosts, Michael and Toby were excellent and attentive. They were available promptly and were so kind and considerate. This is the best place we’ve stayed in and I cannot recommend it enough. I would give 6 stars if available.

Our stay with Caroline & David was great. Very friendly, helpful & were always willing to help with anything. The property & gardens were amazing & safe for our dog Olive who does like to wander every nook & cranny. The bottle of bubbly, crisps, home made jams, & Olive’s doggy treats were most welcome & a nice touch. Thank you! We made the very most of our stay regarding sightseeing & it was always nice to return to our dwelling at the end of the day. Hope to return in the future.

We stayed at The Twig whilst visiting family in the area and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The cottage was spacious, clean and the animals were an added bonus especially for our 3 year old daughter. We will definitely be back when next visiting the area, thank you!

Great place with everything you need. close to the village so if you run out of anything, shops are just around the corner. We had a short but great stay! thank you 👍

Wow, what a place. Literally the best place we’ve stayed at so far. The house was lovely. More than enough space for us two. Was clean and very homely. Had a great intro pack with info on local area, walks and things to do, including Marwell zoo, which we enjoyed on the final day. The surroundings are amazing. Lovely walk in the woods at end of the property. Stunning. Farley mount, wildlife, peace and quiet. Lovely little garden to chill in. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything I needed to make dinner each night. Including microwave, oven, induction hob, and all cooking equipment. That was important to us. Was nice to have all that. The driveway was big enough for both our cars, easily. Shower was fantastic, nice and big, and powerful. Bath was good too. I hope all this info is detailed enough for others to make the right choice, and book it also! Thank you Debbie, you are a great host, and look forward to staying again sometime. 10/10. Just returned from a relaxing short break at Rushmere. The accommodation was very clean throughout and has everything you might need. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is an outstanding airbnb. The cottage is gorgeous - charming, immaculate, well equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable. The village of East Meon is also gorgeous, as is the countryside around it, full of walking paths and country pubs. And there’s more, you will find generous breakfast provisions and a variety of delicious home made treats, and a lovely garden in which to enjoy them. Yet more, and best of all, Richard and Gaye are the best hosts and nicest people you will meet. There needs to be an extra category of especially outstanding airbnbs such as this.

My stay at Owl Barn couldn't have been bettered. It was superb. Absolutely outstanding. A beautiful barn conversion, done and equipped to the highest standard. Exquisitely beautiful, comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful, with green surroundings and good walks down country lanes and across farmland. Mark was friendly, kind, helpful, quick to respond to any queries, and gave me a guided tour of the place when I arrived, walking through what was where. I could have my dog with me too, which was an extra bonus, making the Barn perfect for us. Own Barn was equipped with an information folder, full of helpful and relevant info. Both Mark and his wife Carol have helped me out in the days following my stay as I was moving into the area and looking for contacts and recommendations relating to my new house. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful and finding Owl Barn for this stay was an absolute godsend.

What a brilliant place! Very easy to follow instructions led us to a peaceful, well furnished and comfortable spot. Ideal location for our trip with a bonus of several pubs within short driving distance. Definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage where we stayed for a short break. Spotless and in beautiful surroundings in Selbourne and had all that we needed. Helen is an excellent host with flexible arrival and leaving times. Relaxing walks around Selbourne and very good local pub in The Selbourne Arms (good selection of ales and food)

Our host Genevieve was very responsive with her communications before our arrival and was extremely helpful and friendly once we arrived at the cottage. It was well located and there were many walks from the door either into the countryside or East Meon village. The garden was secure and safe for our two dogs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Neil was such a fantastic host, very welcoming and made us girls feel right at home! The location was perfect, a beautiful countryside setting. The cottage itself was completely tucked away within the farm grounds and felt very private! Plenty of space & lovely garden / hot tub with stunning views over fields. So lovely and we’re already looking at booking for a winter girls trip! Thanks again to Neil & his family for hosting us!

Emily and Andrew’s place was just incredible. From the moment we got there, we meet the dogs and Andrew and felt very welcome. Great local recommendations for places to walk and eat. The setting is out of this world and so peaceful and tranquil. We will very much be back again. If you want the most romantic escape, this is the place to go!!!
