With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy, self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed & travel cot & or hi chair if required. For pets we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.
