Holiday rentals with beach access in East Kootenay

We come here every year for a soccer tournament and rent a unit in this complex. This one was bigger than others with the den and Murphy bed which we liked, and the view over the pool and a large balcony. Very nice ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet and lots of kitchen amenities. Super close to the James Chabot beach park which is great for picnics. This is the first year in memory the pool was actually open is May as well!

it was great, the tv was the only issue. being an Oilers fannwe could not get the game with the Roku tv. " not the end of the world" definitely going back

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) had a great stay at Scott's condo. Everything was exactly as described and Scott gave very clear instructions. There were plenty of extra towels, linens and the kitchen had an everything you would need (though we did not do any cooking during our 2 night stay). We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again one day.

I had a wonderful stay at Lorna's Airbnb! I stayed for a month for a work rotation at Foothills Medical Centre/ACCC and the location couldn't have been more perfect. I had some on-call shifts and it is within a very short, safe walking distance, which was especially important when having to come into the hospital at night. There are also several nearby bus stops which made grocery shopping convenient. Her Airbnb is beautiful, spacious, clean, and very well stocked. As well, Lorna checked in on me every weekend to see if I needed anything and provided several suggestions for activities so that I made the most out of my stay in Calgary. Overall, I would highly recommend her Airbnb, especially for any healthcare worker who is working at Foothills.

Was a great Vacay. The beds were nice lots of extras for my toddler, which was a great bonus. It was a nice quiet neighbourhood and lots of nice walking trails and things to do.

Beautiful cozy place in the middle of no where. If you're looking for a quiet place with a lovely view of nature and feels like home, this is the place to go. Added benefit is zero light pollution so you can easily star gaze at night.

What a great place - perfect for family or friend gatherings and adventure. Having a couple of living rooms to separate and relax in is an awesome feature. The couch in the main living room is massive and comfortable, perfect for movie night. And the massage chair was constantly in use when we came home, it was fabulous. Shawn is really a great host, very proactive, super respectful and polite. Would absolutely come again and recommend without hesitation!

It's an absolutely lovely home with an amazing view and beautiful natural surroundings. The house is spotless and well equipped with everything you need. The views from the large deck were such a wonderful surprise. The ferry ride back and forth from the town of Nelson was an added delight for us. All in all this home was fantastic and I would highly recommend for other travelers.

This was my 2nd visit to River Rock. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the property, the sheltered private location, the sounds of the river. The highlight for us was the huge deck which we did a lot of yoga in the morning sun. We will be back!

The bears den was wonderful. It was centrally located and really easy to get to. The pictures matched the place and was exactly what we expected. Hayley was excellent at communicating and check in was a breeze. It worked out great for our family.

I had such a great time at this place! The pool was absolutely perfect for relaxing, and the view was breathtaking-even better than the photos. The location was super convenient, close to everything I needed while still feeling private and peaceful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. We absolutely loved our stay here, such a beautiful condo, Lillane has thought of everything, the decor and amenities are immaculate. It was so nice to have a full kitchen including coffee machine and fresh coffee beans, dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen necessities. Having a washing machine and dryer was great too. The condo has everything you need plus special extras like lovely soft throw blankets and guest towels for the spa and also bath robes to use. The manual for the condo was very clear and also included local attractions and services. The host checked in to make sure we were comfortable and she communicated throughout our stay very friendly and helpful.
