Holiday rentals with lake access in East Kootenay

Arshad was a very kind and responsive host. I felt reassured with our choice as Arshad checked in on us and made sure we had basic needs stocked in the fridge. Their airbnb was clean, quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The location is central to downtown and other nearby cities - our drive to Banff was a bit further and we knew this prior to booking. We enjoyed and would definitely visit Arshad’s place again.

Our stay at Fola’s was great! The space was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Check-in was the easiest we’ve ever had ! definitely a 10/10 for us. Fola communicated promptly and was super friendly throughout. Would absolutely recommend!

This place is exactly what our family needed for a weekend Swim Meet! We were able to make a weekend of it and were quite comfortable with the accommodations. When our kids were not competing in the pool, we were able to enjoy the front deck, make home cooked meals and enjoyed time at the private beach (and used some of the extras like the beach chairs and toys!) We were quite happy with how well the kitchen was stocked - we never felt like we were missing anything we needed. Kyle & Andrew were quite responsive and great to deal with!

What a great place - perfect for family or friend gatherings and adventure. Having a couple of living rooms to separate and relax in is an awesome feature. The couch in the main living room is massive and comfortable, perfect for movie night. And the massage chair was constantly in use when we came home, it was fabulous. Shawn is really a great host, very proactive, super respectful and polite. Would absolutely come again and recommend without hesitation!

The suite is clean, new and modern. We had a lovely time there.

We come here every year for a soccer tournament and rent a unit in this complex. This one was bigger than others with the den and Murphy bed which we liked, and the view over the pool and a large balcony. Very nice ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet and lots of kitchen amenities. Super close to the James Chabot beach park which is great for picnics. This is the first year in memory the pool was actually open is May as well!

it was great, the tv was the only issue. being an Oilers fannwe could not get the game with the Roku tv. " not the end of the world" definitely going back

Very very nice place, good area, all very clean and exactly what was advertised. Rob was very thorough and clear with instructions on how to locate and get inside the unit as well. Absolutely would stay again.

Bill and Ashley’s place was perfect for our two day stay . It’s very close to the roam transit which takes you to Banff if you done want to drive. The place is relatively small just enough space for the bed but it was neat. Dinner plates ,bath soap were missing. Didn’t affect us as we had our own Enjoyed our stay Thank you

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) had a great stay at Scott's condo. Everything was exactly as described and Scott gave very clear instructions. There were plenty of extra towels, linens and the kitchen had an everything you would need (though we did not do any cooking during our 2 night stay). We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again one day.

Great spot with a responsive host and great directions for check in/out. Will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay at Jeremy and Caileigh’s cabin was all we could have wished for. From the outset, Jeremy was communicative with us and replied promptly to any enquiries. The cabin was lovely and although it was spacious, it had a cozy feel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked in every sense….spices and condiments were available to us, there were lots of dishes and glassware, as well as pots and pans. We loved our time in Windermere and would highly recommend the cabin. Many thanks to Jeremy and Caileigh.

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's house by the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the view of the water every morning was a dream. The house had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Ryan was a great host — responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Whether relaxing on the deck, enjoying the lake, or just sitting by the fire-pit in the evening, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic escape. We’d love to come back again!

Location was great, backyard and lake were awesome spots to hang out outside. Perfect for bigger groups, lots of beds/couches for sleeping.

Beautiful cottage to stay at. Great location that’s right on the riverside. It allowed for an amazing private stay while still having a great view out of all the windows.

The place itself is amazing, the lake is right there for you to enjoy and Aita left all the tools you need to do so which is very much welcome! We had a lot of fun, exploring nearby areas as well not just the lake However, a word of caution and I know this is probably outside the host’s control is that the neighbours from the big white house just before Aita’s place can be very loud and not considerate of others trying to enjoy it The houses are very close to each other and a couple of the nights that neighbour was operating some machines, maybe an ATV? Snowmobile? Not sure but it was extremely loud and woke us all up at 11pm Moreover their dog kept coming after our dogs, which are protective of their place of sleep, so we couldn’t enjoy the lake with our dogs because they were bigger and we were afraid of something bad happening Also they used Aita’s tools without even knowing who was the owner, I know because they asked if I was the owner (??) when giving the boat back

Another fantastic stay here! The location and scenery is unmatched. You can’t beat your own private beach with all the water toys to top it off! Our family makes great memories here every time.

Beautiful place, loved how close it was to the beach, nice big patio, very comfortable. Would 100 percent go back.

Had an amazing weekend at their cottage! lots of beds and room inside & the firepit & hot tub provide lots of fun outdoors. wouldn’t change a thing!
