Holiday rentals with a fireplace in East Lyme

This was the perfect spot for what we were looking for as my son graduated from Conn College. The host was very responsive to my questions and flexible with check in times which we needed. House was exactly what was described and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

The natural setting surrounding the house is lovely and private. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchen tools and supplies. The beds are very comfortable and it's quiet for sleeping. We spent most of our time in the all-glass kitchen, which despite so-so weather felt like we were outside when inside - really special room. Chris was very easy to reach and communicative for anything we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful extended family weekend and would stay again!

Michael and Alyssa’s property was as described - actually felt more spacious than we expected. The layout was perfect for our party and TV/Wi-Fi facilities were excellent. The weather was inhospitable but they can’t be blamed for that!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

We had a wonderful family stay a this home to visit some local kid attractions including the aquarium. Hope is a fantastic host - great communication, friendly and accommodating. The house itself was roomy for our group. It was clean and very well appointed with all the basics you need to be comfortable. The four king sized beds was really nice. No fighting over rooms! Our kids enjoyed the chalk and bubbles that were left outside and playing in the yard. The deck is also a nice space although we didn’t get to use it due to weather. I would definitely recommend this home.

We had a wonderful weekend at Aude's home in Essex. The setting was beautiful and the house itself was immaculate. It is a 7 minute drive to the center of town, which was convenient. The host was very responsive and quick to fix any concerns we brought to her attention. I would definitely return to this Airbnb!

This house is in the perfect location. Nearby to Downtown Mystic and all the attractions but also far enough for family privacy. My family enjoyed a birthday celebration and stayed Easter weekend. The house was spacious and comfortable and fully loaded with plenty of amenities. Our favorite part was the spectacular views of the sunset. Every night, we enjoyed looking at the boats in the water. The hosts were very responsive, and we would definitely recommend this house for families. We didn't even mind the nearby train because it added to the charm of the property. This truly was a gem and will be remembered as one of our best memories!

Lynda was very friendly and accommodating. We booked the same day late morning and though she has a 24 hour in advance booking rule she was so very kind to prepare the place and welcomed us the same afternoon. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, clean and in easy reach for nice beaches and restaurants.

We had a great stay at bobs apartment. The unit was just as described. It has a large yard where we could let our toddler twins run around to burn energy. Bob was very responsive when we had a question. Instructions were clear and concise. He gave us a lot of grace when the little ones had middle of the night tantrums (we had a 24 hr drive so our routines were totally messed up). My only critique would be we really wish we had a broom to sweep up. Thanks again!

Michael’s apartment is spotless, centrally located, spacious, and a comfortable respite. The yard is definitely a space to enjoy! So many birds at their bird feeders. All were singing so beautifully. A shed for bike storage was offered. A fully equipped kitchen is a plus and the tea is a nice touch. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Beautiful fall stay at Jo’s! Loved the space, amenities, and especially all the directions and recommendations for the area. Will definitely come back again if we are in the area.

Sally's pond view apartment is a great place to stay. Because so many of the necessities of home are provided, it's easy to get comfortable right away. There are little touches all around, like beautiful watercolor prints, that charmed me. The grounds are pretty and well maintained with lots of flowering plants and areas where you can sit a spell. The gorgeous pond is a bonus, with its very own resident swan. There's delicious dining close by as well as grocery stores if you're inclined to cook because you can since the apartment's kitchen area is well stocked with cooking tools. Since we were staying for a while, I appreciated the laundry room and not having to go to a laundromat. I was also thankful for a chance to meet Sally & Pete who are warm and knowledgeable hosts. I would recommend a stay at Sally's.

A+++ listing. We had a great stay in Ada’s condo. The location was excellent, it was a mile from Mohegan Sun, in a quiet and peaceful setting with many amenities. The king bed was super comfortable, the condo was really well stocked with everything you need. There was a private back balcony with pretty plants. Ada was a lovely host. She is very pleasant with excellent communication. I would highly recommend staying at her property.

George was an excellent Air BnB host!!!! His responses were prompt and answered any questions we had. The location was ideal in Greenport as everything was walking distance. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have privacy as well as spend lots of time in the common areas together cooking, playing games and enjoying the spectacular view. The home is well appointed with everything you need. Hope to stay here again! Thank you so much.

We had such a wonderful stay at Ann Marie’s Airbnb! From the moment we booked, she was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything so easy and welcoming. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could possibly need — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect — close enough to town that everything was easily accessible, but just far enough out that we avoided all of the typical Hamptons traffic. We even walked around the neighborhood every morning! We couldn’t have asked for a better balance of convenience and tranquility. Highly recommend this stay, as someone who frequents the hamptons — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Cute and cozy space for the 4 of us! The house was great to accommodate our family and this weekend’s events. Jana was a wonderful host, very responsive and proactive to a local power grid outage and made sure we were taken care of throughout the afternoon until power was restored. Very flexible in letting us check in an hour early as we arrived earlier than scheduled. Overall great experience and perfect host!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.

Very cute tucked away villa, with pool/hot tub, close to Mohegan Sun. The host was very responsive and the villa was clean and nicely decorated. Would love to come again :-)
