Guesthouse holiday rentals in East Palo Alto

I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was really clean, comfortable, and best of all very quiet. Also, the neighborhood is great. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit the area another time.

David’s place was well appointed, clean and thoughtfully furnished and organized. There were power strips with electrical outlets and USB ports wherever they might be needed — a nice touch. Coffee was plentiful and the kitchen well supplied. David and Goldie went out of their way to make us feel at home. We will definitely return.

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

Julie and I had a wonderful time at Margaret and Phils. It was near a neighborhood I grew up. The accommodations were great, private cottage and beautiful gardens. They have a dog, Sadie, who was a delight. We hope to go back in the future.

Was a great option for close proximity to the Google campus which is where we needed to be. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and walkable. It’s evident they are very involved with the beautiful landscaping and gardening on/around the property therefore notable tree pollen/allergens during the spring time. Overall a cute, cozy, and darling stay!

We really loved staying in Eugene and Clare's studio. The location was perfect, and the studio itself was very clean and cozy with a lovely view of the garden. Eugene and Clare were excellent hosts, very friendly and responsive who obviously put a lot of thought into making the studio special. I hope to stay here again during future visits to MV!

We really enjoyed staying with Kate. I really appreciate that she reached out to ask about special dietary needs. The neighborhood was wonderful and very quiet! Loads of interesting things to do nearby. It was our first time to the San Francisco area and we enjoyed our stay! Your place was very convenient to all our activities. The information about Redwood forests was helpful and we ended up At Purisima Creek Redwood preserve after spending some time at Half Moon Bay! Both fabulous places and close to our location! The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Very accommodating and very clean and quiet. Arthur was the perfect host! Our only issue was the parking. We were in San Jose for a church conference that took place off of 1st Street near 237. We wouldn't get back to the cottage until after 10 p.m. so had to park a block or so away both nights. But, it won't stop us from returning. We will be back for next year's conference. Thanks again Arthur!

This was one of the most beautiful airbnbs we’ve stayed in! The house is gorgeous and the property is so cool - our kids loved all of the animals. Laurel is so communicative and helpful. We truly had the best time!

Yao was a perfect host. She was always responsive to my inquires and was very accommodating when I asked for an earlier check in. Yao Airbnb was very clean, in a quite neighborhood and just a short drive to Kaiser Santa Clara where I had an early morning appointment.

This spot is very well located, quiet, clean with everything you need. Very comfortable bedding. Very pleasant shaded patio. Marilynn is very friendly and responsive. An example, broken coffee maker changed within the next hour. We had a very good stay in this accommodation. Thanks again!

Overall, a very nice stay. Michelle was very responsive and quick to answer any questions I had. There was a bit of a hiccup but was all on our end and we enjoyed our stay there. Michelle and Victoria are very friendly and kind people.

We loved our stay at Julie’s studio. It was such a beautiful space and perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is beautiful and the inside is cozy and so well put together. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood to get delicious food. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed a week at the Digital Nomad Retreat visiting family and the redwoods. This Airbnb really is a stellar 5* retreat. We enjoyed the surrounding, of course, and the Airbnb is spotless and perfect. Robert is the perfect host and always a text away. I’m sure we will return to this quiet, adorable get-away in the trees.

Sarah’s space was truly lovely — clean, organized, thoughtful, and effortlessly charming and welcoming. I greatly appreciated her attention to detail in both cleanliness and environmentally friendly protocols. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. 12/10 recommend and bonus points for stellar views.

Silvia is the most wonderful host! Thoughtful and attentive. She has a welcome snack and champagne waiting for you when you arrive. She’s truly thought of everything! The Studio is also great! Private and peaceful. Very well stocked. She’s got everything you’ll need! We loved the private outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine. We stayed for a longer amount of time and she made sure we had fresh linens for the bed and fresh towels. We would absolutely stay here again.

I felt at home the minute I entered this handsome studio. The layout feels spacious and peaceful, with window and door looking out to a beautiful backyard shared with the hosts (who I never ran into). From the personalized welcome sign with my name on it, to small helpful notes around the unit, I felt welcomed and cared for. (Vs. last place that greeted me w/ list of rules to control my behavior). Very comfortable bed (w/ blanket wrapped in sheets like an upscale hotel--thank you!). Kitchen had everything needed for cooking a few meals. Loved the options for soft lighting in kitchen and bed reading lights. Loved being just a block away from downtown Campbell, with all its restaurants and shops. The whole neighborhood is peaceful and walkable--one of my favorites in the San Jose area. I look forward to staying here again someday!

Flora’s place was great for our recent visit to San Jose. The unit was lovely and well equipped with everything we needed. Floras was a wonderful host and provided clear instructions and assistance as needed. We would definitely stay there again.

This is our first Airbnb experience and we were glad we chose this place for our first stay. Rahil was a very-very responsive and kind host. We had a tiny bit of trouble first entering the property due to the locking system. I messaged Rahil and he quickly responded and fixed the lock and we were good to go for the rest of our stay. The place was spotless and very clean when we first entered. It is like having your own mini house with all the amenities you need even for a long stay. Everything was professional, instructions were clear, bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The area is super nice and private. It is like a 5 minute drive to Santana Row, Valley Fair Mall, and multiple restaurants. I had no problem keeping my car parked in front of the property and never felt like it was going to be a problem. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at this Airbnb and you are in good hands with Rahil.

There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect this place was. We spent the weekend celebrating a birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. To start our host Sheryl was very accommodating and proactive of our flexible requests. The shower was out of this world. It was as if the clouds parted and heaven shot down the perfect water pressure to bless us. Everything we could have possibly wanted was there labeled and in a box. The bed was so comfortable and each night it was time to sleep we passed out instantly. The chickens and pool was a beautiful touch that only added to the ambiance of beauty. I got a chance to meet Sheryl randomly and she was super nice and very pet friendly. When we arrived Sheryl acknowledged the celebration by providing a bottle of red wine and premium milk chocolate for us to enjoy. We were truly able to fully let go and relax here

Had a great stay! Clean and great location. It did get a bit stuffy at times and unfortunately, the chickens next door made it difficult to keep the window open.
