Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Eastern coast of Cantabria

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

A wonderful old cottage on the edge of Arredondo, lovingly renovated. You have a wonderful view of the mountains when they are free of clouds or simply watch the clouds play on the mountain peaks. The covered terrace is ideal for an outdoor breakfast or dinner. We used it every day of the week to simply enjoy the view. The property is clean and well maintained. Since it is on a slope, you have to climb the mountain a bit. But certainly not a problem for hikers. A stream, the Ason, ripples below the property. Tall trees around the property, but they don't interfere. A very nice place to stay for 4 people. We would love to come again. Unfortunately, there are too many beautiful places waiting for us. There was nothing to complain about for us. A beautiful house in a quiet and better residential area. The central location to the beach and the town center is great. We received a lot of information from Maria in advance and everything went wonderfully at the reception. We were there for 2 weeks and since the weather was changeable, the big house was great. The garden with the old trees provides shade and the evening sun is beautiful for a sundowner. Our dog also felt very comfortable on the fully fenced grounds. So if you want to stay in this corner with a dog - or children, because the basement is full of children's toys - this is the right place. Thank you, dear Maria, for letting us stay in your house.

We have been 12 people in the house, marriages with children and what I say would fall very short, the house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we found it incredible and we will definitely repeat!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

An ideal house for a quiet weekend to enjoy the nature and landscapes of Cantabria. The host was very attentive , friendly and the things we had were sorted out at the moment so I have nothing but good words for them, highly recommended , we were able to enjoy the stay a lot!

Clean and tidy house. Close to the beach and with all the amenities. 100% matches the description and photos posted. The only thing is to be careful if you are traveling with elderly people because there are two flights of stairs to access the rooms and the terrace. Area with restaurants and shops that provide you with all the services. Urban that brings you closer to the center next to the house. We would repeat for sure.

A very nice and comfortable house for a small family. We were very comfortable for three days, the house has the essentials so you don't miss anything in your stay. It is in a quiet area, you have to move about 8 min for super and places to eat. The house shares part of the jardin, but it has a trocito vallado por sias carry chuchos. In general I would recommend the stay if you want to move around the area, Cabarceno and Santander are about 20 min away.

Lovely village. Excellent metro to Bilbao. Easy walking access to shops & town. Close to beach. Everything was great.

We really enjoyed our stay with the beautiful garden. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and flexible. Only some more plates and cutlery would be helpful to cook at the accommodation for 5 people. Would definitely recommend for your stay in bilbao :)

The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

Diana's apartment is equipped with everything you could need, even food is partially provided. We were traveling with 2 children and Diana offered us a crib for our little one, as well as all doors and windows extra secured. However, what you should know is that the apartment is on the 5th floor WITHOUT an elevator and the windows are not renovated. That means some workout every day and unfortunately a little clairvoyant, but the shutters are dark. But all this did not bother us. Only the water quality left something to be desired with strong chlorine taste, but that is difficult to change. Overall, we liked it very much and we can highly recommend the apartment and surroundings for a stay as a family.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The host sorted us a taxi to and from Bilbao, with no problems. Also very responsive when messaged. Highly recommended the stay, it’s in a beautiful location

Lara was a great host really paid attention to all the details to make you feel at home..Comftorable bright open and airy and very clean.. Left fruit and breakfast for us coffee and tea..We love Castro and our sad to leave... But we will be back Chris and Aimee Fort Lauderdale Florida

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, great location equal distance to beaches and old town, lovely walks in every direction, it’s hilly but everywhere is! Only note is the terrace is on the front porch, quite pleasant and gets the sun but not secluded/private. Luis was a fantastic host and we would stay again.

Fantastic hosts. Jon was excellent in communication. We went during the cup final so bilbao was very busy. He told us train times and even took us too and from bilbao. Couldn't have asked for a better host.

The stay at Teresa's was a great experience all around. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and superbly equipped, we lacked nothing and we felt right at home. The view from the accommodation is impressive. The area is quiet and you have your privacy. There are many possibilities to do something in the area and Teresa gave us valuable tips. We will be happy to come back!

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything could not be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be more bustling (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: if you go with kids (and, if not, also :-D), the beaches of Isla are another great point in favor!

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation faithful to the photos.Recommable, quiet place 5 minutes from the village.The garden is very good especially if you go with a pet.The comfortable beds. They are very attentive at all times.With parking in the door and garage. Very complete, looking forward to coming back.

Juan's apartment is in a spectacular elevated position overlooking the bay in Comillas. It is very clean and modern and contains all that is required for a week's stay. Parking is private and close by. Juan was an excellent host and in spite of our poor Spanish he provided us (with the help of Google Translate) with all the information we needed. It is a very short walk away from the fishing harbour, promenade, beach and restaurants. Comillas is a delightful small and friendly town with an old centre around a marketplace with cafes and narrow streets. Would we go again? - definitely!
