In 1 word: Wow! We enjoyed it so much there! We had nothing missing, very nicely decorated and this in a prime location. If you don't become zen here, then nowhere... Otto and Nathalie, you are more than worthy of the 5 stars!

Very friendly welcome. Home very neat and fully equipped. You can relax in the ecological garden at a stone's throw from Lier. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights with 7 people in Kris' Airbnb. The accommodation was exactly like the photos and we liked it very much. The house was beautifully spacious and had all the facilities / stuff you need. Think of the necessities for the barbecue, herbs, coffee, tea, etc. During our stay, we were lucky to have beautiful weather, so the swimming pool was perfect. The contact with Kris went smoothly and quickly. We also liked that the check-out time was flexible so we could leave at our leisure. We had a great stay where there was little to criticize. If you had to give a point of feedback, it is that 1 bathroom for 7 (or 8) people is actually just not enough. We knew this in advance, but a 2nd bathroom would be useful. Thanks again for everything! See you next time!

Sarah received us with an outstanding place. The house is perfect to fit a family or group of friends to explore Mechelen surroundings. With a great location to visit other Belgium cities. The park entrance at 2 min let you explore an incredible park, I will totally recommend to visit it. All local recommendations shared by Sarah were incredible. Enough space to park a car o bikes in a safe location. We were surprised with mechelen of how peaceful and beautiful it is

Bert and his wife were very friendly. We had a problem with our transport and they allowed us to keep our belongings in the lodge until we had van sorted. We didn’t use the mezzanine as stairs are steep and we are not young! We slept quite happily on the corner unit which was, surprisingly comfortable for the length of our stay, on ground floor. We’ed stay again. Thanks for your help with our situation Bert.

Nice place with lovely large garden with a nice canopy for outdoor dining and a jacuzzi. The house is also pleasant and big enough. All the comforts and clean. But for the feeling of privacy, I would have liked a hedge between both houses, for example. Although the (super friendly) hosts were not much at home, it still feels like you look in together very easily. But.. definitely enjoyed this nice place and who knows, we might come back again.

This is a blissful place to spend time. Spacious rooms, spacious living room, spacious kitchen and bathroom. The house has a heart and you feel that. The neighborhood is very multicultural tinted but the residents are particularly friendly and helpful. You feel respect and they are clearly grateful when you express the same to them. There is a local North African market ("Tanger Market") within walking distance where you will find beautiful fruits and delicious fresh vegetables at very democratic prices. But there is also an artisanal butcher with everything you would like to enjoy and a warm bakery who already offers delicious freshly baked bread and sandwiches from the early morning. Easy bus connection to the Central Station and from there to the whole city. If the opportunity arises again, we would very much like to come back here.

The place is perfect if you like to rest in a quiet place, surrounded by nature, walk to basic amenities of a quiet village and with a lovely walk. Centrally located to visit different cities around by car. Very well connected. Kris and his family offer you a simple, clean, and very cozy accommodation in a great rural environment and with a friendly treatment that makes you feel at home!

What a wonderful stay! Beautiful location and above all a great and inspiring house. Within 10 minutes, the car or taxi to Leuven is no problem.

Estelle was so helpful and responsive to my many questions before arrival and gave some great local recommendations for kid friendly food. The house is in a great neighbourhood, lots of nice restaurants, shops, easy to walk anywhere, but feels quiet and like a community. The stairs are a bit steep for small kids, but it's a classic narrow house with a lovely feel to it. Would highly recommend and return one day. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

A truly exceptional stay in the heart of Antwerp. Lander's apartment is an absolute gem. The location couldn't be more perfect for exploring the city, with everything we wanted to see and do just a short walk away. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and was a pleasure to come back to each day. What really made our stay outstanding was Lander's hospitality. He was incredibly kind, flexible with our arrangements, and always responded quickly to any questions we had. Honestly, we don't think there is a better place to stay in Antwerp. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back!

Our stay in this house with lots of charm in the immediate vicinity of the old town was very pleasant overall. The landlord was friendly and straightforward. The property impresses with its many windows, which provide plenty of light, and a quiet location ideal for relaxation after the many impressions of the day. Particularly practical is the proximity to a rental station of Velo Antwerpen, a bakery and a small supermarket, which makes everyday life easier. A small point of criticism is individual doors that do not completely close, which could affect privacy depending on the travel group. However, this is an easy to fix problem that can be solved quickly with some craftsmanship. If you wanted, there would be even smaller optimizations. For people with walking disabilities, the stairs are probably too steep and narrow. The house is a good choice for travellers looking for a bright and well located place to stay. We would definitely recommend it!

This homestay completely refreshed my expectation for a short stay in Europe!The three-floor duplex space is designed with a sense of design that preserves the charm of the old building and cleverly incorporates modern conveniences.The two bedrooms are paired with two washrooms to fully meet the needs of families or friends traveling together, and especially love the sunlight in the top floor sloping roof skylights, which are extra cured in the morning. The kitchen is a "kitchen friendly", everything from the coffee machine to the oven, even the Chinese style frying pan is thoughtfully prepared, and you can buy fresh ingredients in Chinatown in five minutes on foot, so we can easily replicate the taste of our hometown.The two living rooms are clearly partitioned, a cozy corner of a group of people sitting around and a quiet space to read a book alone, and the dining room long table is home to countless smiling dinners. The location is simply a full score!The central station is 8 minutes on foot, and there is no pressure to lug luggage.The corner is the fireworks of Chinatown, supermarkets, restaurants, and tea shops are at your fingertips, and a hot bowl of beef noodles saved the Chinese stomach.Even more surprising is the 20-minute walk to the Cathedral Square and deeply experience the charm of the old town. The host couple is like an enthusiastic friend who lives next door, and the service of the "invisible guardian" is especially reassuring. Probably only the old house stairs need to be careful and slow if it's a hard suggestion.For travelers who want to immerse themselves in Antwerp, this is definitely the perfect choice to go above and beyond a hotel!
