Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

We offer attractive self catering accommodation in a quiet picturesque rural Cumbrian village in the Lyvennet Valley at the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Lake District flat with great mountain views

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.

Scenic walks over limestone Scars from the doorstep. Comfortable double bed, single bunk above with limited head space. Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.

Thorneymire Cabin

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

Braeside Cottage is a cosy private space in peaceful surroundings centrally located for the amenities of Hexham. An ideal base for exploring both Hexham and the surrounding Tynedale Valley famous for its Roman history including Hadrian's Wall and Vindolanda, or visit Kielder Forest with its world renowned dark skies and observatory. You will have your own private outdoor area with seating, fire pit and BBQ. Private off road parking provided. Pets are welcome.
